2 out of 5 eggsexcellent marketing, but dont get caught up in the hype

Pros: comes with extra battery and doesnt take too long to charge either one.
when i finally did get it to fly, it was a fun experience.
pretty slick display on controller.
comes with extra propellers.
small foot print so its perfect for indoors.

Cons: where do i begin? it is WAAAAAAY smaller than you imagine and even at sale price its overpriced. propellers will throw this off balance and you will fight with trim til your blue in the face. had to swap the propellers, by color for color, til i found a good balance and then it hovered nicely and i was able to finally enjoy 'flying' it. seems like finding parts for this is almost impossible, after crashing landing the quad it snapped one of the motor shafts instead of the propeller taking the damage so now i have to hunt down another motor which i will continue to look for because it was fun to fly once i got it set right.

Other Thoughts: batteries are wrapped in tape which i believe helps hold them in place but you have to almost force them into the holder as well as with removing them, giving you the feeling your going to break something. overall quality is a bit cheap, to me its a $30 dollar toy and not a penny more. the controls cover on the quad is lame, could have a better design.

for the overall experience, if i wasnt so darn stubborn id go and spend money on a different quad, but the tech/geek in me wants to fix this and get it running again.....thats just me. so if your looking for something durable, id pass on this and go for one with rotor/motor guards which add protection during crashes.

2 out of 5 eggsTiny toy, not great.

Pros: It might work well for a few weeks.

You might get the hang of flying it with less frustration than I had.

Comes with an extra battery, which helps since they only last around five minutes each.

Comes with extra propellers, which is good since they'll quickly break and fly off.

Cons: It's VERY tiny, about the size of an adult's hand. It's made out of junky plastic that will quickly crack and break apart.

The batteries are both wrapped in tape that was coming unraveled when I opened the box.

This isn't worth what I paid for it, and I got it on sale. Comparable units can be found in toy stores for half the listed price.

Other Thoughts: If you really want to get a quadcopter to play with and you aren't an expert, go to a brick-and-mortar store and actually see what you are getting.

2 out of 5 eggsLess than expected

Pros: Pretty cool toy.

Cons: By my own fault, I thought this would be bigger. I couldn't stop laughing when I opened the box and saw how small it was.

One of the motors stopped working after about 30 minutes. It wasn't battery related. I think I just got one of the bad ones.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks good, charges in about an hour as it says, comes with a spare battery, & blades.

Cons: After a few days of flying the Quad copter does not fly right. Every time it lifts off the ground, it immediately flips over & hits the ground. I have re-read the flying instructions, checked the unit looking for problems but found none; made sure the battery was in the middle of frame, & still will not fly correctly.

Other Thoughts: I have tried everything in the paper work on making sure all is ok with Quad copter & it will not fly. When it takes off, it will lean to one side or the other & flip over. So at this point I will not recommend the Quad copter.
