Pros: Inexpensive.

Cons: The picture is somewhat misleading. I don't get any pink or purple hues when in the light, so it's a rather dull grey color that doesn't stand out very well. I was expecting it to be a lot better in color to stand out nicely.

Other Thoughts: I feel like the color should have been better represented in the picture.

Pros: Well-made and elegant. Somewhat bigger than expected- hang below the earlobe as opposed to just covering the earlobe. The color change associated normally associated with Alexandrite is somewhat subtle- blueish-gray to pinkish-purple. Ridiculously fast NewEgg shipping- ordered Black Friday, received Cyber Monday.

Cons: The back of the earring is longer than usual, but not so long as to be stabby.

Other Thoughts: Glad I got them.

Pros: The pattern of the metal is distinct and well done, the silver is bright and gorgeous, and I think they are the perfect size for what they are.
The snap-front "peora" box that they came in was adorable - but don't forget to remove the "Return Policy Void if Removed" sticker before gifting.

Cons: The color of the stone is very muted and smokey. You can sort of tell that it is a dark translucent purple, but from a distance it will look translucent grey. Up close and in good light you can see the occasional pink and green sparkle, but try another product if you are looking for obvious color.

Other Thoughts: The posts are set such that the stones do hang at an angle as depicted, but the two earrings I received are tilted in opposite directions for symmetry - it's an interesting effect.

When I try to photograph these earrings with my camera, the stones always are picked up as hot pink. It is the weirdest thing.
