Other Thoughts: This thing makes a high pitched ringing sound when plugged in. Don't know if that's normal, but it is kind of annoying.

Pros: works good fits in all my cars with out problums.

Other Thoughts: its a bit backwards the 1A will charge my tablet and the 2.1A will not

Pros: Feels solid. Charges both iphone 4s and android phone no problem. Looks good. Fit without issue in my xB.

Pros: It's red.

Cons: This plug is too short for the positive connection to reach the hot lead in the 12 volt receptacles in my wife's car, in my truck and on my motorcycle. The body of the plug flares out too soon, preventing the plug to be inserted far enough into the receptacle.

Other Thoughts: Newegg vendor did not reply to several requests for information about a refund or replacement. Newegg offered to refund my money, so good on Newegg but shame on the vendor.

Other Thoughts: The tapered design of this adapter does not allow it to extend far enough into the 12 volt receptacle to make contact with the positive terminal so it does not power up. It doesn't work in my truck, my wife's car (both Toyotas with multiple OEM 12v receptacles) or with the aftermarket (Powerlet) receptacle on my motorcycle or on my mom's Subaru. The cheesy 1 USB plug I got for $2 works fine but this slick looking 2 USB plug works not at all.
