5 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected

Pros: Definitely worth the $14 I paid for them 2 years ago.

Cons: Not sure why the price has gone up so much since then.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent cable!!!

Pros: It appears to work very good. Sturdy construction. Obviously well insulated/shielded.
Works perfectly with my Dell U2410 :)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: My last cable I bought on eeebay very cheap. It seems to pick up interference from somewhere in my office. This one does not. Perfectly clear vibrant image. Exactly what I was hoping. WAYY better than my composite cable!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, and the cable does what it's supposed to. Now my Wii games look and play (slightly) better.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Just what the Wii needed. The composite connection the system comes with can't hold a candle to a component connection like this. Dramatic improvement on 26" Samsung and a 55" Vizio playing Zelda: Twilight Princess. Has almost a 'heavy duty' feel to it. Connection to both the Wii's proprietary connector and the 5 component ends are solid and tight. All wires are heavily insulated. Length is more than adequate.

Cons: If the 3 RGB or the 2 stereo inputs on your TV/monitor are even a tiny bit closer together than mine are, there literally won't be enough room to cram the plug ends in without bending something in the process. I don't know if there is an industry standard for the distance between component inputs, but I sure HOPE there is or some unlucky people will be frustrated. Obviously, I did not have this problem so this is not a Con for me.

Other Thoughts: As it has been stated many times already, why in the world would N1ntendo undermine the graphics capability of their Wii consoles right out of the box by not providing a complimentary component cable AND a composite cable (just in case - some peoples' TVs don't have component inputs)? Maybe there's a legitimate answer to this, but I do not know it.

You must go into your Wii settings and change the resolution from the default 480i to 480p.

Upgrading to component cable for the Wii does NOT get rid of 'jaggies', in fact it makes the image 'jaggier' than before, but it does take care of blurring quite nicely. Blur bothers me far more than jaggies so this is A-OK with me. Maybe search around on Google for some comparison screenshots before buying.

Pros: A nice solid set of cables that works great with the Wii, can't beat the price.

1 out of 5 eggsReceived Used

Pros: I haven't had the chance to test them yet, but it did arrived on time.

Cons: When I opened the box, the plastic packaging was open, tape residue inside on the plastic but no tape there, and, noticeable scratching on the black bit that plugs into the Wii.

Other Thoughts: I'm really mad at newegg for sending me a used item, if it was returned, it was returned for a reason. There's bound to be issues with it, if you all are going to sell used stuff, list it as open box.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes what I needed

Pros: Progressive Scan (480p) video from your Wii. Uses component video jacks (3x RCA) instead of composite (1x RCA).

Cons: Doesn't magically make the Wii HD-capable (you will NOT get 1080, or even 720, with this). Also, don't expect it to magically improve sound - it's still stereo audio with Dolby ProLogic to emulate additional channels.

Other Thoughts: Unlike most, I bought this so I could free up one of the two composite video inputs on my TV for other uses, rather than to improve picture quality. Of course, it does both! Don't forget to configure the settings menu; it'll be useless unless you set progressive scan mode.
