2 out of 5 eggsUseless

Pros: It's made by Nintendo.

Cons: Now I'm not sure if it's because I have Vista 64-bit or because I'm also using a router (that has a security code that my Wii/DS won't accept), but I could not get this to install onto my computer. I went to Nintendo's website and downloaded the latest Vista-compatible drivers and went to install. It failed every time saying that I needed to insert the USB device into a USB port, while it was already inserted into one. I tried 4 USB ports on my computer and they all failed to allow me to install. I'm sure this is a decent piece of hardware, but it is not user friendly.

Other Thoughts: Go the cheaper, safer route and just buy a cheap router.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat/Not Great

Pros: Great hardware

Cons: Lousy drivers and software.

Other Thoughts: The installation wizard that came with this device hosed my XP machine. Thank goodness for backups.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: wireless access for your Wii or Ds.

Cons: Proprietary drivers only allow use with a Wii or Ds.

Other Thoughts: There are allready drivers available to open the connection to other devices. Search your favorite search engine for them

5 out of 5 eggsA wired alternative to this

Pros: Does what it says, wireless.

Cons: Price is high compared to alternative.

Other Thoughts: If you don't really need the wireless connection and don't want to spend $40 more to make your Wii operate normally, consider the Airlink ASOHOUSB 10/100Mbps ethernet USB adapter. I wish Newegg carried it, but they don't - the Trend net version does not work with Wii but the Airlink does. I am currently using the airlink with my Wii.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like it should!

Pros: Works! Just plug it into your computer's USB port, and your Wii is hooked up to the internet!
It works perfectly even though my wii and computer are on completely opposite ends of the house!

Cons: The usb connector gets quite warm while in use, but i haven't seen any problems from this.

Other Thoughts: Does what it should! Works with the DS and the Wii! Buy this!
