Pros: The video, while not professional grade, is surprisingly good. Definitely good enough for casual home videos, vacation videos, or YouTube. 1080p looks surprisingly good for a pocket camcorder.

The camera comes with an RCA connector cable for use with old composite TVs. It also comes with a USB charger plug and cable, a cloth carrying bag, and a manual. It has an HDMI jack, but you have to supply your own HDMI cable. You have to download the "Media Impressions" software online, though; it's not included.

The video screen is reasonably large. The whole unit resembles a smartphone in size and appearance.

There is a macro focus switch which helps get close-ups of small objects/details. You can't get too close, though, but this is a nice feature.

Digital image stabilization works pretty well at preventing shaky-cam. Different image effects and digital zoom are nice pluses, although it might be better to add them afterwards via separate video editing software.

Cons: As a camcorder, this thing is useless without purchasing an extra SDHC card (class 10). At 1080p, you'll only get seven (7) seconds of video with the Playtouch's limited on-board memory. You'll get about 30 seconds at 720p. You MUST buy a memory card for this thing. Consider this a hidden cost.

The rubber "doors" that open up the expansion port areas seem very flimsy. Although I haven't broken them off yet, it looks like it wouldn't take much to break them off.

The touch interface takes some getting used to. I'm not sure it's my lack of touchscreen experience or the responsiveness of the hardware, but often times the screen doesn't respond the way I intended, or at all. It's not horrible, but I prefer real buttons.

The built-in microphone picks up the hum of the camcorder (faint, but noticeable). You'll need an external mic to get around this. Another hidden cost.

Still photos are too hard to take with this thing. You must be perfectly still to get a non-blurred pictur

Other Thoughts: All in all, pretty good. The video quality is very nice, particularly in outdoor conditions. You definitely need to buy a decent size and speed memory card for this, though. So add in a decent class-10 SDHC card to the cost. You might be able to live with the microphone hum (at first), but you'll probably need to spring for an external mic, too.

You can mount this thing to a tripod, too.

Overall, the thing has it's minuses, but for a pocket camcorder, it takes very nice videos. For casual use, I think it's a good purchase. For my casual purposes, I'm happy.

Other Thoughts: This could be a great mini cam, but the small screen makes it less than appealing to me. A few videos I took were also small and there's no way to get the video to go full screen even when it's downloaded. But the sound was good.....

Pros: This reconditioned Play Touch For 50 smakers is a deal. Worked right out of the box. Added a 8gb sd card off and running. No scratches on the tuch screen .like new with all the goodies that come with it.

Cons: Touch screen is realy touchey. Takes some getting use too.
Shiny Black for the good old fingerprints.

Other Thoughts: Good for on the go. Fits in a cell phone case.

Pros: Great Camera was very cheap @ 50 bucks you cant go wrong. Everything that comes with this cam new comes in the box. Shipping Was fast from this marketplace. Great recording outside Over all a great Product at a very reasonable price this should be easily over 100.

Cons: Cant change the resolution on the picture mode. Pictures look dingy when low light areas are around. But this can be fixed with lights.
