david wen 5/30/2011 8:29:13 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5YAMAHA iPod dock Pros: Excellent sound, works with every iPod I have(gen 2,4 and 5 Nano), simple remote, small footprint and price(it was on sale for $79.99 here). Cons: It would be perfect if it had aux in and sub out and the power supply is not built-in, instead you get a power brick laying on the floor(I no like). Other Thoughts: This dock may look small, but it plays really loud and clear. I am using my 5th gen Nano with EQ set to treble booster and it sounds great. Highs and midrange are very clear, bass is acceptable for speakers this size. The reason I bought this dock is that I don't want to turn on my main receiver just to listen to my iPod while I work out(I don't like wires around my neck when I move around). popmonkey 5/26/2011 11:25:48 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 5/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 4/5very useful bedroom system Pros: i really like this unit. the sound quality is excellent once you accept that you'll get no stereo separation unless you put your head right next to it. it's incredibly well integrated with the ipod - the remote control works better than any other ipod dock i've ever seen. works with every ipod in the house and has surprising bass and stays clear and clean at very loud volumes Cons: i didn't think i'd miss it given what it's used for (ambient music), but not having an external input is sorely missed. i would love to be able to plug my android phone into it and stream pandora, for example. oh well - should have thought of that when i was buying :) Did you find this review helpful?
