2 out of 5 eggsDecent pair of headphones, horrendous customer support

Pros: 1. Decent pair of headphones for the price, decent bass response, and good volume.
2. Fits very snugly in the ear.
3. The call and mic buttons work well even with android phones.

Cons: 1. The mic button stopped working within 10 months although the headphones were still working great.
2. Left earphone stopped working soon after, but within the 1 year warranty period.
3. Tried calling the customer service of Altec Lansing but absolutely horrendous customer service.
Nobody answers the phone on the "heritage products" line and the customer service on the other number is of absolutely no help, in fact they were downright rude and hung up when I was trying to state my case.

Other Thoughts: Decent pair of headphones, but horrendous customer support ensures that I will never buy Altec Lansing products again.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth the money.

Pros: Such a cheap plastique look! The wires are so skinny, I wonder how long it would last. I can easily get a better pair with $10, I paid. I actually paid $8. for a pair of much better quality Altec Lansing.

Cons: The sound quality is nothing impressive for the price. Feel sorry I bought it!

4 out of 5 eggsGood for my purposes

Pros: I got these as a backup for my Bluetooth head set in the car. I had Skull Candy ear buds previously but somehow I couldn't hear the other party on the phone anymore. These ALs were on sale so I bought 2. For me, I mostly wanted them for when I talk on the phone, not for music.

Cons: For music, I would have to say the sound quality is pretty bad. The only thing I could compare it to is AM radio. For the price though, I didn't expect too much and really have no complaints.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Ever

Pros: Extremely High Quality Sound and Mic for the price. I've paid way more for buds that don't sound anywhere near as good. Microphone is good enough that you can actually use it for phone calls or recording. A button allows you answer calls and can pause or skip (2 quick presses for Glxy S4 player) your audio depending on how your player reacts.

The woven fabric wire coating feels much stronger than plastic wires. This is a quality set! I've gone through lots of expensive buds including Sony, Yamaha... and these are my #1 choice for every day use. I love that I can control my Phone without having to pull it out of my pocket.

Cons: No clip (You can always add one)

Other Thoughts: When I use most buds with noise isolating ear muffs they mute out (believe they need air movement to operate). For some reason that doesn't happen with these so I can hear music well while I'm mowing lawns at full speed.

4 out of 5 eggsNicely made good value

Pros: Nicely made, does not have the usual cheap feeling of plastic due to the nice cloth covering of the cables. The sound is what you expect from this price level, no real complaints. Has a inline Mic that works well as a hands free cell phone device. The mic has a small built in button that allows me to accept or hang up phone calls on my phone. probably has other functions in music playing apps that I did not try . Comes with 3 sizes of soft ear pieces .

Cons: The mic is where the two cables Y to the ears.Seems a bit low as most have the mic higher up on one ear piece line. But My callers seem to hear me well so may not really be a con, will have to see.

Other Thoughts: Be aware that this item is sold by a Newegg affiliate and not newegg itself . I was a little disappointed how long shipping took. I ordered mine on May 18th, it did not ship until May 21st and arrived on May 29th. I am spoiled by Newegg's fast shipping I guess. Everything I buy from Newegg directly, generally shows up 3 or 4 days after I click the buy button.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great sound, so far. I miss my genuine Creative & Sony earbuds. These are a good replacement.

Comfortable enough to sleep in.

Cons: Won't clean my kitchen for me.

Other Thoughts: I usually fall asleep listening to unabridged audiobooks.

These earbuds perfectly fulfil my sleeping-with-earbuds-in-my-ears comfort requirement.

4 out of 5 eggsdecent run

Pros: Despite being only 10 bucks, these headphones really do sound like the $50 they "compete" against. The cloth finish around the cord is a nice final touch and the overall quality excellent when given the $10 price range. Would recommend over other $10 headphones easily.

Cons: At one point, the clicker jammed and stopped working.
The headphone piece came apart after about 8 months

Other Thoughts: Overall, an excellent $10 product. Not worthy of the $50 original price though. The most I think these headphones should go for is $20, and that's pushing it. Hope my experience has helped.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent Sound and Sound isolation

Pros: Comes with different size for ear buds. More bass than most earbuds. Has mic. Button on headset works on android phones, pause/play for media. Not sure how it works with calls.

dynamic response decent for earbuds.

Cons: Noise-reducing is really noise isolation, by using the in-ear buds. This is not noise-cancelling (using circuitry to send an inverse wave against background noise - ala bose noise-cancelling tech). Earbuds dynamic range not as good as full headphones.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Satisfactory

Pros: Nice cloth-covered cord, good length, earbuds are comfortable (3 different sizes supplied), I like the sound quality, but I don't know a ton about headphones.
Good deal for 10 bucks!

Also, the clicker on the cord works well (1 click to play/pause, 2 clicks to skip song, 3 clicks to go back) --It should be noted it only works when in an Ipod (I didn't check any mp3 players, but an iTouch and my computer.

Cons: Not always on sale :/ I wouldn't want to pay $50 for these. They are a good deal for 10 though.
