5 out of 5 eggsWorks just fine

Pros: Built in motionplus keeps the controller from being massively long (and thus difficult to play in games that have you hold it sideways)

Hole in the case on the battery pack to allow you to sync with a console without having to take off the jacket and battery pack cover.

Cons: Nothing really. It works well with my original-launch wii.

Other Thoughts: Bought to replace old wiimotes that did not have built in motion-plus and were a bit "abused". So far so good. As others have said, just use rechargable batteries instead of battery packs. Cheaper, last longer and much easier to replace when they start to struggle to hold charge.

5 out of 5 eggsKids tested

Pros: Color
Button placement

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a holiday gift for a 5yr old grandkid.
Need I say more. It is used a lot and has taken a beating. It still is in the same condition as day one.
Hours apon hours of use and all is well.

4 out of 5 eggsShould have been like this since the begining

Pros: Eliminates the need of the "snap-on" Wii Motion Plus Accessory.

Cons: The Wii remote should have been designed this way since the beginning, with Wii Motion Plus built in.

Other Thoughts: The issue the previous reviewer had is with a non-licensed Nintendo product. Nintendo never made nor released any official rechargeable battery packs. They have all been 3rd party. People should really stick with rechargeable AA batteries from Duracell or Energizer, they are cheaper and more versatile than buying proprietary battery packs for any device.

1 out of 5 eggsNintendo How I Hate Thee, Let Me Count the Ways...

Pros: None

Cons: Nintendo, the second sleaziest tech company behind Apple, does it again! Bought new remotes only to find that Nintendo changed the battery type for no apparent reason and now the rechargeable packs I have and quad charging station are useless. So now either these have to go back ori have to purchase a whole new charging setup.

Other Thoughts: Just the latest in a list of compatibility issues when buying accessories... I wish I'd never bought a Wii and won't ever buy another Nintendo product again.
