2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works great with XP 32 bit.

Cons: I upgraded all my systems to Windows 7 64 bit and found there is no 64 bit support for any windows! What a bummer. It is a useless brick now.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Bother

Pros: Works occasionally.

Cons: Crashes constantly. The PC connector software is buggy. Setup is difficult. Linksys doesn't even list this product on their website anymore, so there is no chance that any of these flaws will be addressed with firmware/software upgrades.

Other Thoughts: Pass on this product. Get an Airport Express.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Streams any audio your PC can play.

Cons: Any audio your PC can play includes alert noises and other intrusive junk.
Poorly made.

Other Thoughts: Used this for more than a year. Put up with its quirks and setup hassles till it abruptly died and could not be resurrected.

Gave up and bought an Apple AirPort Express, which has worked pretty much flawlessly as a music streaming device for the past two years, without turning itself into a digital doorstop. Save your money and buy something that actually works.

3 out of 5 eggsfinally got it to work

Pros: sounds great once it works

Cons: obviously released with firmware bugs

Other Thoughts: Apparently the WMB doesn't like special characters in the WEP PSK pass phrase. I used a 63 char string with just letters and numbers and it finally connected. Now it works great.

1 out of 5 eggsA piece of c*#p

Pros: None so far

Cons: It doesn't work with vista, it keeps disconnecting all the time, the optic port didn't work.

Other Thoughts: I didn't buy it from newegg, I can't RMA, anyway do not buy this thing unless you are going to use it with RCA jacks and wired network.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Reliable once set-up correctly

Pros: Great sound, I have used this product for over a year now and have been very satisfied with it. Had to download the latest software and upgrade the firmware to version 1.3 to get it to work with Vista. Also need to make sure your playback device is defaulted to speakers for WL-G speakers. Going to buy another one today.

Cons: No cons to speak of, this product will work great when set up correctly. Make sure you are within range of your WL router.

Other Thoughts: Linksys tech support is there 24/7 to help you and I have excellent service from them

2 out of 5 eggsTerrible Setup Utility

Pros: The idea of a simple wireless music bridge is great, if it works for you.

Cons: I spent an entire weekend trying to set this thing up. Usually Linksys has such good setup utilities, but not for this product.

5 out of 5 eggsEasy setup

Pros: We have a whole house network and I was concerned that with six computers all using the same network that it would affect sound quality through the home stereo/theater system. WRONG. Great product. It does what I wanted it to do. In spite of previous reviews I found the saetup to be easy. It took all of two minutes.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: None

2 out of 5 eggsVista not supported

Pros: Worked with XP as advertised running up to date software and firmware.

Cons: Did not work with Vista at all. Multiple hours on multiple days with Linksys support failed to resolve.
Software would crash on launch on three vista machines (2 running home premium, 1 running business)

Other Thoughts: Newegg Customer support rocks! I was out of the normal return period, but they still allowed the RMA because of time spent working with Linksys.
