5 out of 5 eggsIt's a TRAVEL Router

Pros: It's a Travel Router. It does what it's suppose to do. Take wired connection in a hotel and make it wireless - It does it very well, plus it is small.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: A lot of people complain they can't use it on DSL. I haven't seen a hotel yet that does use normal connections. It's not made to use at home. Get a standard wireless router or access point and set it up. That's whey they are meant for.

2 out of 5 eggsDSL...

Pros: Small, light, very useful, as long as you don't have DSL.

Cons: Is not compatible with DSL.
Easily lost.

Other Thoughts: I like the color.

4 out of 5 eggsThe Travel Wireless node

Pros: Easy to move around and travel. Works great with my IBM laptop with build in wireless. Lots of great features to lock down access. It was easy to configure.

Cons: The power brick is a bummer for a travel wireless router. The Cisco PCMCIA wireless card I used got rotten connectivity.

Other Thoughts: It get's wicked hot when plugged in for a long period.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent choice

Comments: This solved a perplexing problem, allowing me to connect my PDA, which only has a wireless LAN connection, to a wired LAN in a hotel. It installed quickly and easily, and is small and simple to use.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!!

Comments: I ordered this as a supplement at home for my new laptop (I'm the only one with Wireless) as well as for when I'm on vacation. This router was up in running in only minutes; plugged it in, scanned for wireless connections and I was surfing the net! Setting up the security was easy too. Living in a townhouse I wanted to secure my connection so nobody could get on, and now the connection is protected. With the handy travel case I'll be taking this thing everywhere. Great job Netgear, and great job again NewEgg for another wonderful product, cheap and quick.

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice....

Comments: Connecting was a little sketchy in the beginning using my work issued Dell 600D laptop. However, I now get a good strong connection (still not sure what the problem was in the beginning.) I recommend, but be aware; you may need to play with it a bit in order to get it to work.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Range on this product seems to be around 75-100 feet (didnt get out the tape measure), more than enough for a medium or maybe large sized room (hotel, bedroom). Easy to use and setup.
