4 out of 5 eggsgood solid unit

Pros: good solid unit. runs reliably with good signal strength. does not drop sessions or get 'finnickey'.

Cons: after trying to configure it to use a different-LAN-config than default, it got fishy, revered to defaults next day on its own after a reboot of device was required. Bit annoying. In stock defaults settings mode it runs happily, so I just am using it in default LAN config. Have proper SSID passphrase in place so it is fine.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Unit

Pros: This is a great little AP. Used it with a Netgear Powerline to extend wireless in a very large log home. 5 bars everywhere we need it! I've used some of the higher end Engenius products which I was happy with and thought I'd give this one a shot. At $32 and change it can't be beat.

Cons: None

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Inexpensive, High power, small and light weight

Cons: I purchased 2 of these. Had one setup as a repeater and the other on a satellite modem 350 feet away. System operated fine for about 2 hours, then none of the PCs had connectivity with the WAN. Neither router could get an IP address from the DHCP server in the satellite modem. Tested them on my office system- same deal.

Other Thoughts: I'll be requesting an RMA.
