And the built-in clip keeps your music moving with you.

iPod nano the 6th generation features Genius as your personal DJ, along with a built-in FM radio, VoiceOver that speaks 29 languages, a pedometer, an optional Nike + iPod Sport Kit, and more.

  • newegg Ridiculously Smaller Than Ever You would think it is impossible for Nano to be any smaller than the 5th generation back in 2009. Now, Apple has once again pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in the industry. The 6th generation iPod nano is 46 percent smaller and 42 percent lighter than its tiny predecessor. Spooky or what? Built in the perfect size for a tap or a swipe, iPod nano 6th generation let your fingertips feel right at home.
  • newegg Gorgeous Multi-touch Display Adopting the same multi-touch interface from iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, the 6th generation iPod nano allows you to navigate your music collection by simply tapping or swiping a finger on the touch screen. You can even rearrange the icons on your Home screen so your music is organized just how you like.
  • newegg Play All Day and All Night The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery gives you up to 24 hours of nonstop music. So when you clip on an 8GB or 16GB iPod nano, you’ll have plenty of tunes to make it through your commute, your workout, and beyond.
  • newegg Genius, the Music Mixmaster Say you’re listening to a song you love and you want to stay in the groove. Just tap Genius. It finds other songs on your iPod nano that go great together and makes a Genius playlist for you. For more song combinations you wouldn’t have thought of yourself, create Genius Mixes in iTunes and sync the ones you like to your iPod nano. Then tap the Genius Mixes icon and rediscover songs you haven’t heard in a while — or find music you forgot you even had.
  • newegg Radio Nano Ride the airwaves on iPod nano. The FM tuner shows the artist, song, or program you’re listening to. Just tap to see the radio controls, flick the radio dial to change stations, and tap to set your favorites. You can pause and rewind up to 15 minutes of any radio broadcast with its amazing Live Pause feature.
  • newegg Stay Fit with Every Step iPod nano doubles as a pedometer, which makes it the ideal exercise partner. It keeps track of your steps and helps you meet your fitness goals. Just clip it on and walk on. You can create a daily step goal and check your progress when you upload all your data to the Nike+ website.

1 out of 5 eggsNano now only Shuffles

Pros: Plays exceptionally well as an iPod should.
Freq. response lower than most MP3s.
Genius radio is a plus feature.
The clip is nice.

Cons: This is basically a Shuffle with a touch screen sold at Nano's price.
Key Nano feature missing is the video player.
Very disappointed Apple called this a Nano.
I will not keep this MP3 player.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst MP Player Ever

Pros: Absolutely none.

Cons: I have the older Nano's and several Classics, which are feature rich, but this is bare bones and little more than cheap junk. Way over priced, which I do not mind if the value is there, but the value is not there. This product can not be charged by most docking stations, including Apples. You must only use the line that comes with it. Please someone tell me how to turn it off, so the battery does not run down. Shuffle your songs you must shake the Nano, and this does not always work the first few trys. Can not play music videos, or movies, no camera. The value of this product should be under $20.00 and even then it will drive you nuts, trying to get it to do what it is suppose to do. You will realize what a rip off this Nano is after using for a month. The touch screen is either non-responsive, or over-responsive. Nearly impossible to scroll to a song in the lower half of the alphabet. I don't think this Apple product can be rated low enough.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this Apple product to anyone, unless I was a soldier at war, and then I would leave them at different places for the enemy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy

Pros: This thing is great. I have 2 of the 2nd generation ipod Nanos. This is the first one that I bought new (well, open box) for myself. These nanos have come a long way. The touch screen is very intuitive, like all of Apple's players and computers. The size is wonderfully tiny. It is called a 'nano' for a reason. I am shocked that people buy a 'NANO' and complain that it is too small. SERIOUSLY!?! I bought this to be a permanent resident in my car. I took it out of the box; it synced right up and was charged within about 3 hours. It plays perfectly on my car's head unit and the delay is way shorter (virtually non-existent) than my old Nano that I have in another car. The size makes it very easy to keep out of sight in the vehicle.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This is not a video player. I believe the Nano's are split... 3 generations had video, 3 did not (including this one). But, who in their right mind would watch video on a 1 inch screen? That is just crazy... there are too many options out there for 3" screens and larger for video players.

My wife and I have (3) Nano players, (1) original video, and (1) touch. All have been flawless, with (3) of these ipods over 5 years old and still running strong.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: well, the 2 people wrote the review before me didn't found the nano as other kind of item beside a mp3 player

Cons: price are ripoff "just" for a mp3 player

Other Thoughts: I ordered Lunatik for my nano and turn it into a first multi touch watch with mp3

i am not a fan with apple, but i end up buying the nano 6th because i can turn it into a watch with the price that nothing can compare

2 out of 5 eggsIpod nano

Pros: small, touch screen is nice. You can easly move around the menu.

Cons: No movie playback. No camera. Only has half the features as the ipod 5th gen. You will have to upgrade to Ipod touch or find an old nano to use your video's from your iTune's library. Over priced for the features it has. Its more like a fancy IPod Shuffle

Other Thoughts: If you have an Ipod shuffle and want to upgrade, You will like this one. If you like all the features of your old Ipod 5th gen and movies, video cam, games ect. , you need to upgrade to a Ipod touch and/or find another 5th gen.

2 out of 5 eggsthis is not a nano

Pros: Small
nice screen
could have been great

Cons: the ipod nano plays Mp4 video. This does not. This should be called the "ipod shuffle touch"

Other Thoughts: I returned the one i bought. I had my heart set on having such a micro player... I will either just use my old nano or i've been looking at the little archos 1.4 vision. the archos isn't touch, but it plays videos.
