4 out of 5 eggsPretty Decent for the Price

Pros: Multiple Bands
Multiple SSID
Easy Setup
Transmit Power of 2.4 Ghz is good

Cons: 5GHz Transmit power is not ideal
Occasionally 1 band will stop working

Other Thoughts: I've been really happy with this purchase. Once every couple of months I'll have to reboot it to get one of the bands working but I've been running 3 networks off of this without really any problems.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME!

Pros: This was an extremely easy router to configure. Did not even have to look at the manual but again I have been doing Technical support for wireless routers for 5 + years. Very simple and clearly labels options makes setting it up a breeze. All my "G" devices connected with better signal and Faster then my old Netgear. My "N" devices all solid at 135 mbs an I love it. I will recommend this model or the updated version to all my friends an clients

Cons: none that I an tell.

1 out of 5 eggsPossible defective unit

Pros: Wireless and LAN seem to work just fine, was at a nice price point on Black Friday when I purchased it.

Cons: I may well have gotten a defective unit or this may not want to play well with my Japanese ISP's PPPoE connection. It should still work, however. Exhaustive attempts to resolve the problems met with little success, so here I am with a (very ineffective) paperweight that allows access to some content but not others, even with the firewall entirely off. It seems like the QA on this product isn't exactly up to par.

Other Thoughts: TRENDnet friends, note that I've read your copy-paste response to the other reviews.

1 out of 5 eggsCannot Recommend

Pros: Worked great for a little while.

Cons: Wireless, out of nowhere, has completely stopped working. Does not recognize any wireless adapters, including 2 b/g/n adapters and 2 b/g adapters.

Other Thoughts: Updated to latest firmware.
Reset to factory defaults.
Still broken. Only wired connections work. Tested in Ubuntu 11.10 and Windows 7 with 4 different adapters.
My 5 year old Linksys WRT54G still works fine...

I bought this during the Thanksgiving sale. I saw the bad reviews, but I have a few Trendnet products that have worked fine for quite a long time so I took the chance. This once again reaffirms that brand loyalty is a bad idea. Now to try to deal with getting a replacement/refund...

1 out of 5 eggsGood for an hour, then dead

Pros: there is only on con for this product

Cons: IT DEAD WITHIN 60 MIN.

Other Thoughts: bought it from newegg when it was on sale during thanksgiving. then bring it back home tonight from school and installed it with my modern. worked pretty good at the beginning but when i finished my shower the thing just not functioning any more. i checked my modern with my old router so i am 100% sure my modern is working. i knew this brand it's somewhat not so reliable but i didn't expect the product dead within 60 mins. no more trendnet in my life.

1 out of 5 eggsTRENDnet

Pros: - Free Shipping, and thats about it

Cons: - was not able to connect with modem.
-

Other Thoughts: I spent 3 hours talking to their Tech support and they couldn't figure it out. It made the situation worse is that for the first 30 minutes the tech kept telling me it was the modem and not the new router, but the problem is 10 minutes before connecting the TRENDnet router my old router was working FINE!

Manufacturer Response:

Valued Customer,

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. If you don’t mind we could help check direct connection to modem works or not before integration. Please contact us at sales@trendnet.com, reference "New Egg product review" and someone will contact you immediately. We look forward to working with you directly to restore your faith in TRENDnet products.
