5 out of 5 eggsGood Quality

Pros: Very nice Slow Cooker. The programmable option is nice and automatically switches to Warm once the program is finished.

Cons: One thing my wife and I have noticed is the Low setting doesn't seem to be as hot as our previous slow cooker. It's not really a Con necessarily, but it is a difference to make note of. Cooking on Low does take longer with this compared to our previous Hamilton Beach slow cooker.

Other Thoughts: Overall we are satisfied with our purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks As Advertised

Pros: Does what it says.
Easy to program.
3 heat settings, High, Low, and Warm.
Automatically goes to warm after the time runs out in Program mode.
Clamp-down lid is great for transporting potluck food.
I've never used the thermoprobe, but I still might in the future.
Ceramic bowl is super easy to clean, even when you forget it has sour krout and brats in it for 2 weeks.

Cons: A minor complaint so no eggs knocked off. There's a hole in the lid for inserting the thermoprobe. If you have the lid locked down for transport, it's possible for the contents to splash out of the hole. It's small though so as long as you dont flip it upside-down, you should be ok.

Other Thoughts: I've been making easy meals with this thing for 2 years now, and it's probably my favorite kitchen appliance. Cleanup is always easy, and it's hard to screw up most slow-cooker recipes. About 80% of my favorite meals are slow-cooker recipes, and they come out of this thing perfectly every time.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This thing is awesome. It makes wonderful pot roasts, carnitas, gumbo. My girlfriend loves it too, because now I make dinner all the time.

Cons: No delayed start. But really at $40 I can't complain.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Easy to use, program options, manual options, loud beeping noise when started or ended, Price!

Cons: loud beeping noise when started or ended

Other Thoughts: We absolutely love this slow cooker! I owned a manual one before this one (off, low, high). I love that I can program the cooking time. So you can cook it on Low for 8 hours and then it automatically turns to warm as to not over cook but at the same time it doesn't get cold! Which is perfect for those days that you had to stay late unexpectedly at work. Haven't tested the plug in thermometer but read good reviews on it too

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: - Cooks at proper temperature
- Ability to use thermometer
- Digital timer with auto-switching to "keep warm"
- Locking lid
- Price

Cons: - Rubber around the lid tends to absorb flavors

Other Thoughts: A great overall slow cooker. Good size for most recipes. I used to have a Cuisinart one that would cook too hot, even on low setting. This one cooks as a slow cooker should -- using gentle low heat and stays within the safe temperature range. A good deal at about $50!

5 out of 5 eggsworks great

Pros: simple to program, cleanup is easy. I've used it about 20 times and everything has come out nicely cooked. Oval shape is much easier than round pots.

Cons: power protection is good for 5 seconds. If power is out for longer, cooking stops.
can't delay the start with outboard timer. The programming is for cook time, not start,
clamp on lid latches interfere with the insert's handles

Other Thoughts: It's a pleasure to use. The clip on spoon and lock-down lid is genius for pot-lucks

4 out of 5 eggsgreat for potluck parties

Pros: Great for going to potluck parties because it won't spill in the car. Programmable timer is great for peace of mind when cooking something overnight or during work.

Cons: lock for the lid is kind of flimsy, not very well designed. The gasket for sealing absorbs smell of whatever you cook for a while.
