4 out of 5 eggsSo far, so good

This review is from: MEElectronics AF-52 Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone

Pros: These thing are much better than the on-the-ear Bluetooth headset that I had. Better range, sound, and comfort. I mainly use these at my work place (a cube city). I can walk away from my audio source (80ft) and still get great reception (that's thru 10 metal walled cubes and metal stud walls). This is not a noise canceling headset. But, they do help reduce the background talking that I normally can hear in the cube farm. Sound is pretty good for $60 bucks. I compared them to our $250 Plantroic's headset here at work, glad I saved the money. As far as comfort. They are nice. If it were not for the bows of my glasses, I could wear these all day. But, this is not the fault of the headset. Over all I would say I made great buy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the size of the cups themselves. A little on the small side for me. I do have rather large ears and they don't fully cover my ears.

Cons: Other than the size issue I mentioned above, I do have one other thing to mention. I don't know if other Bluetooth headsets can o this but, I wish it would self recover the Bluetooth connection once you walk back into range. I have to walk back to my tablet and reconnect. Not an earth shattering con but, it is a pain sometimes.

5 out of 5 eggsAF-32 Bluetooth Headphones

This review is from: MEElectronics AF-52 Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone

Pros: Works flawlessly (Found it works better with linux - Suse 12.2) than WIN 7. (Has to be coaxed into pairing) Very good fidelity. Really nice base range. Allows you to walk away without losing fidelity. Comfortable and easily adjustable to wearer

Cons: none really

Other Thoughts: Don't go near microwaves and expect this headset not to have problems: stray rf can cause the sound to break up. (But then, should you put your head THAT close to a microwave?)

3 out of 5 eggsGood, with one flaw

This review is from: MEElectronics AF-52 Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone

Pros: Good sound quality. There is a delay of about a third of a second, but that is to be expected with a bluetooth connection. As a result, good for music, or for movies, so long as you can adjust the audio delay, but not good for gaming.

Cons: System messages are at a constant volume, regardless of the volume level. I tend to use headphones in a quiet environment, and have the volume fairly low. The system messages, informing the user when the headphones are turned on, turned off, connected, or on low battery, are then at an absurdly high volume relative to everything else. This is loud enough that it is physically painful. In particular, the low battery warning, which repeats every minute or so, makes the headphones utterly unusable while the battery is low.

1 out of 5 eggsI'm sure they'd be great if QC had tested them.

This review is from: MEElectronics AF-52 Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone

Pros: The parts that actually worked did what they were supposed to. Acceptable at best.

Cons: No sound out of right ear... had to pay an exorbitant amount to ship back a defective product. Good quality control could have easily prevented this issue.

5 out of 5 eggsLove'em

This review is from: MEElectronics AF-52 Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone

Pros: Look and feel great. Sound is impressive and overall I'm very happy with these headphones. I'm using them with an iPad (4th gen) and they're so easy to use.

Cons: The advertised range might be a little questionable but that will probably vary by your location. I live fairly close to some power lines for example. The control buttons are pretty small and take a little time to get familiar with, I'm a guy with fairly large hands.

Other Thoughts: These headphones also give the user a lot of control features.

4 out of 5 eggsConsidering grabbing a second pair

This review is from: MEElectronics AF-52 Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone

Pros: Price.
Sound Quality,
Wireless and Wired.

Cons: Media buttons don't work in iTunes(PC. Not sure about pods or pads)

Other Thoughts: I do not consider Myself an Audiophile. Having said that, I love the sound quality. I have been using the trusty Artic P311's the past couple of years(Indestructible! lol). These were an obvious step up from those. I like them so much that I'm considering a second pair while they are only $39.99.

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome

This review is from: MEElectronics AF-52 Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone

Pros: Not bad for the price $39.99 instead of $119.99. Sound great, heavy bass, nice mid & highs sound. I'm glad it can be used by blue tooth or wired.

Cons: For some reason my iPod 5th Gen would not work with these headphones .

5 out of 5 eggsSuprisingly good quality (6 mo owner)

This review is from: MEElectronics AF-52 Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone

Pros: 1. Outstanding battery life. I bought these headphones to talk with a friend on Skype while we play games. He bought some "So-Knees" from "Wall-Mart". My friends die about 2-3 hours into gaming every night and have to be charged, mine go all night long every time (through gaming sessions that last as long as 8 hours).

2. Good Build Quality. They feel nice and sturdy and have held up great so far.

3. Better sound quality than expected. They don't stack quite as high as my old Bose Triports or my Shure E260's but they were a third of the cost and their close enough.

4. Pairing is easy.

5. Built in mic works well.

Cons: 1. Fairly weak range. I know they're Bluetooth headphones but I wish I could go around the house a bit further. In all fairness they perform about as well as stated in item description.

2. Audio delay. It only seems to get so bad before the timing stops degrading but it seems to happen after very little use. This could also be caused by my Bluetooth transmitter so take it with a grain of salt.

3. Ear cups are a little bit too small for my ears. I would rate their comfort level as 4/5

Other Thoughts: I purchased these on sale for around $50 and they were worth every penny. When compared to the more expensive set purchased by my friend these really deserve 5 stars.

4 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: MEElectronics AF-52 Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone

Pros: Good quality; good sound; comfortable and lightweight; wireless; cable provided for direct connect if needed; rechargeable; handy controls on headset; comes with storage bag; readily pairs with phone and tablet

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Bought these on promotion in mid-November for just under $40. I was not familiar with the manufacturer, but they work well, and produce a good sound. Paired with Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and Samsung Galaxy S4. I saw some comments criticizing the set's quality or functionality (I haven't seen a product yet that doesn't get its share of critics), but I haven't experienced any of that. I have not tested the range of this set from the source of the signal, so I can't comment on that if that's a concern. Of course, there are more expensive sets out there, but my needs are modest, and for the money (assuming you can catch a sale), I think this set is well worth it. I'd give it 5 eggs but I just haven't had it long enough to have given it a full workout.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Value

This review is from: MEElectronics AF-52 Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone

Pros: Light weight. Comfortable. Good sound quality. Don't look cheap. Paired with my IOS Device without issue. Charges via USB from iPhone and iPad chargers in addition to a computer USB port.

Cons: None to speak of though I haven't owned them long. Time will tell on durability.

Other Thoughts: I'm sure there are higher quality wireless Headphones on the market with better sound quality, but if your ear is not any more sophisticated than mine, not at this price point. Having a voice identify when the headphones turn on and off is a nice touch.
