4 out of 5 eggsGreat for what it is

Pros: Cheap
The case may seem flimsy but is extremely durable. (see other thoughts)

Cons: Every time I close it and put it in my pocket it opens in the process. If you keep your usb drive in your pocket, you will probably not like this one.

Other Thoughts: I see some reviews saying its a cheap case, but its durable too! The wife mowed it down with the computer chair while it was connected to the PC (located on the floor.) I had to remove the case which took more time then I though to solder on a new male usb connector so we could pull the data off of it, and yes, it worked.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Flash Drive

Pros: I have a couple of these that I use for installing windows 7 on computers. Works great for that.

Cons: of course its slow but its also cheap so no real complaint

Other Thoughts: A little on the flimsy side but nothing a little super glue cant fix if the cap pops off. When installing windows is faster and easier than dvds.

2 out of 5 eggsNot ReadyBoost compatible

Pros: It works as a flashdrive so it gets 2 eggs.

Cons: Despite newegg saying it is ReadyBoost compatible, it is not.

Other Thoughts: I have been purchasing from newegg for years and this is the first time I purchased something newegg that I am not happy with. I probably won't return it because it was only $7.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent enough...

Pros: It holds files, has a nice feel to the casing and works as extended memory for an Xbox, albeit a slow performance option. Works well as a bootable USB device. handy to keep in the vehicle for that unforseen need to transfer smaller files.

Cons: None really. I haven't had it break or anything. I suppose that if I used it as a dog toy it might.

Other Thoughts: I didn't buy this model, but a rebranded (Duracell) version of it. I was in a bind and bought it at a drug store for almost twice this price. I have used this for various bootable images (Windows Home Server, Ubuntu, BackTrack, etc.) without incident. When the Xbox update was released, allowing the use of USB flash drives, this one passed the test, but warned of diminished performance. I have 3 PNY Micro Swivel drives that didn't make the cut for this purpose. I played Fallout 3 for 155 hours with all the expansions, my saves and my profile running off this drive.

2 out of 5 eggsCheaply Built Device

Pros: It DID do what it was supposed to do, in other words, it operated as a flash drive....

Cons: Cheap casing. The housing slides over the usb connection, extremely stiff to move, and about the 5th time I went to slide the housing down over the connector, the back of the housing simply broke off, and the electronic device inside fell out.

Other Thoughts: I did NOT but this from newegg, I bought it at a local retailer.... live and learn. Just remember, you get what you pay for, also, the only reason I gave it 2 eggs rather than one is simply the fact that it DID perform as its supposed to as a flash drive.
