Pros: None.

Cons: DOA. Flashing blue power light as soon as I plugged it in. The word "refurbished" can have different meanings. I do expect the item to at least be powered on, though, before it's shipped. I have doubts that happened here.
Linksys' exe to flash new firmware was unsuccessful. The router couldn't be seen by the computer while plugged into any of the LAN ports.

Other Thoughts: RMA approved but I would have to pay return shipping. That's throwing good money after bad. I took a chance and lost but will not order from Quantum-Wireless again.

Pros: There appears to be a delay in packet transmission regularly compared to other routers of a similar price. When we switched to this router we noticed that the download speeds for videos were much slower and would have to wait for videos to start or they would stop often since the play rate exceeded the download rate. This is on wireless (computer) and wired (BluRay player). My previous routers wireless went but its wired functions still work. I can now watch Youtube and Netflix through my BluRay play without it being choppy because I ran the ethernet cables from my modem to my old router, and ran them from my old router seperately to my BluRay player and Cisco router. So our computers connect wireless through Cisco and our BluRay connects wired through our old router. For normal surfing and uploading/downloading applications and files the Cisco router is solid. There appear to be minor delays in normal uploading/downloading nothing really bad. I believe I am still running faster than the speeds I had with my old router when we were on DSL, but not as fast as my old router when we switched to cable internet.

Cons: Slower download/upload speeds on wired and wireless connections that are not conducive to streaming video.

Pros: Easy manual setup. 10/100/1000 WAN!! I have a large LAN and this router handles the large loads very well. 3 gameing PCs and HD media streaming all at once, no hic-cups

Cons: Just for reference I tried the USB installation software. I could not get it to work right away and abandoned it. Manual configuration was very easy any way.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a backup router to my E2000. But it works so well the E2000 is the backup now

Pros: sleek, clean, white

Cons: slow, slow, slow

Other Thoughts: I had faster speeds on 4g than through this wireless router.

Pros: Got Linksys to assist in setting the router up. Now, it works fine. The fact that it was a refurb caused the Linksys people to distance themselves. They asked if I had my receipt; I said yeas; they helped.

Cons: Other than the faulty setup software, once I got the correct software, device worked fine.

Pros: It showed up...

Cons: It didn't have the necessary firmware to install the thing. It's just a paperweight.

Pros: None

Cons: Supplied software failed to locate router. Linksys said that the item was out of warranty, so they were NO help. Quantum-Wireless Tech Support were good. The RMA department, not so much. I am returning the item for the reason mentioned, and for a replacement WITH the appropriate software. They act like I'm returning it for fun.

Other Thoughts: Usually can't go wrong with Cisco, Linksys products. Maybe I just received a bad apple

Pros: The router works fine, I immediately upgraded to the "DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/07/12) mini" firmware.

Cons: The item came with a defective "Besttec" AC adapter, luckily I still have my old Linksys WRT54g's adapter to use for the time being. Requested a new AC Adapter be sent out but the supplier indicated that they can only do an exchange and that I will need to send the entire package back which costs more than it would to buy an AC adapter online (which is what I ended up doing). I will be wary of dealing with 3rd party suppliers and not directly with Newegg from now on
