1 out of 5 eggsNot reliable

Pros: Small Footprint. Does what its intended to do.

Cons: The left two ports failed after one day of use, and now do not work at all. It's very much a case of, "You get what you pay for."

2 out of 5 eggsNot happy

Pros: Works once and awhile

Cons: Becomes very Hot, Do not hook up flash drives or external hard drives to it, it losses connection with power demanding devices.

Other Thoughts: Bought for my Laptop for when i get home i can just plug one item in and go. but it fails to balance more then one item even when it's two simple items.

5 out of 5 eggsWords

Pros: Works just like I wanted it to.

Cons: LED is bright, but it is hidden behind the computer anyway so this does not bother me.

Other Thoughts: Bought it so I could run a mouse and keyboard on. Haven't tried anything like a hard drive yet. Don't let the bright LED keep you from buying this product, Just use some electrical tape if needed.

5 out of 5 eggswhy so bright

Pros: nice port layout

Cons: the hub that thinks it's a nightlight

Other Thoughts: why is the LED so bright on this thing? you can turn it upside down but really duct tape it the only solution. otherwise it's a nicely designed little hub.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat inexpensive usb hub

Pros: -It was cheap.
-It works nicely when I got it, and still works nicely, after owning it about 15 months now.
-Surprisingly durable. I'm rough with my electronics, and it's still working.

Cons: -None really, but the blue LED is a bit bright. My computer is always on, so the light is also. It got to bothering me one night, so I threw a strip of masking tape over it. Can still see the light to make sure its still plugged in, but its not too bright now. Don't think that's quite enough of an issue to knock an egg.

Other Thoughts: I'm still trying to figure out how it has survived my abuse...

4 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: 4.5 eggs to be precise.

Excellent bus-powered hub. Comes with a short A male to A female extension cable (great for desktops or USB keys!). Great for notebooks (I don't have one, but it is very small and should fit easily with one). I use this with my desktop which has one working front USB port; instead of two I now have four.

Cons: Very bright and focused blue LED. Be great to know what the power requirements (volt/amp) and orientation (center positive/negative) are for the power port on the hub, if it is in fact a port to make the hub self-powered. This cost the hub 5 eggs.

Other Thoughts: I took mine apart and painted it a different color than iPod white (blue to be exact).

4 out of 5 eggsGood Way To Expand USB Ports

Pros: The ports do their job well. I've had no problems connecting my Flash drives and iPod.

It cost more to ship the thing than it did to buy it, but it was still a cheaper overall solution than the cheapest hub I could find at Staples or Target.

Cons: The device glows with an extremely bright blue light. I'm not sure why the light is needed at all...

Other Thoughts: The front-panel USB ports on my machine stopped working, so I wanted an easy way to connect my devices without pulling the box out of the cabinet I keep it in.

1 out of 5 eggs4 port junk

Pros: It worked nicely for about a week to week and a half.

Cons: Broke after a week and a half, didn't bother returning. The thing gets really hot with the little led light and eventually seems to burn itself out. I wouldn't recommend this to someone else.
