5 out of 5 eggsSeems to be a good deal

Pros: I just pulled this out of the packaging and tested it with CrystalDiskMark on a MS Surface Pro (original version) going through a cheap USB 3.0 hub from China. Read is 87 MB/sec. Write is 25.74 MB/sec. The packaging lists the specs as 70/18. So it's hard to complain.

Cons: Feels slightly cheap but not so much that I wouldn't get another one.

Other Thoughts: For the money, it's hard to beat if it holds up. NewEgg shipped it in a box that was way too big and seems wasteful.

5 out of 5 eggsTrandsend 32GB USB 3.0 Memory Stick

Pros: LOTS of room. I have used it for my emergency disk for my desktop rather than a few DVDs.

Cons: Only a single minor problem with the locking mechanism.

2 out of 5 eggsas long as speed doesn't matter

Pros: Low Price

It works

Cons: very disappointing speeds for a 3.0

Nightmarishly slow write speeds

has the feel of a Cracker Jack box toy

Other Thoughts: I guess it's ok as long as you realize in advance that your not getting a Silicon Marvel or SanDisk Extreme and you are good with slow, basic functionality.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good price for 32gb USB 3.0

Cons: Write speeds are terrible for usb 3. I have an Adata flash drive that writes 3x faster. Read speed not too bad, still slower than my other usb 3 flash drives. Drive also feels flimsy.

4 out of 5 eggsHead warning on the path of Purple Confidence(TM)

Pros: Day 1: At first I didn't know what to think about this extremely standard USB drive, but then I saw it outside of its plastic-packaging-prison and it changed my life. The purple slider was so purple-y I gained a new sense of confidence. Purple Confidence™.
School became easier. Movies became better. Windows 8 started to run like Windows 7! It was miraculous! After using this product to transfer some English video projects that were due and some HD "videos" “acquired” from a recent LAN, I felt my life's purpose was clear. Transfer successful.

Day 2: On campus, during my English 102 class, I unsheathed my new flash drive with a potent motivation to share my new bling. The purple slider slid the internals smoothly, erecting the metallic connector into the USB slot. Obviously every girl in room let out a sigh, biting their lower lip; enough heated panties to trip the thermostat.

Even with all the newfound energy in the room, I remained cool. In the front of the room I inserted my data capsule. I could see a purple glint in the class's eyes. It's show time and I'm primed.

Cons: Day 2.5: After feeling like a boss using this fine purple beast of a product, I finally came to my demise. This products purple slider is so powerful it overcame my most fundamental logic.

Having primed the computer/projector in front of my super-motivated English 102 class I began to start my presentation, but the newly acquired thumb-drive-confidence led me astray. Without noticing, a stray click opened my “acquired” collection of “videos”. My mind was blinded by the Purple Confidence™.

I was still searching for the English project, wading through hundreds of pornographic video titles without hesitation. Beginning to question if I had saved the project file the day before, I finally found the file that seemed to match- "English Teacher Sends Naughty School Girl to Detention" was double-clicked.

The Purple Thumb-Drive-O-Swagger was confiscated, my day was ruined and my Purple Confidence™ was never regained. The purple 32GB of USB 3.0 was too much to bare and was eventually cast off a mountain side into a deep ocean grave.

Other Thoughts: The only thing I ask before you make this purchase is to heed caution. The purple slider will consume you which is why I will deduct a single egg. Only with the most fervent defense will one weild such power, a power unquestionably worth all five eggs.
