4 out of 5 eggsGreat SSD but no SATA Cables provided

Pros: Great clock speeds, great price, overall just a great SSD especially if you're on a budget.

Cons: Well it'd help if there was a 2.5" to 3.5" mounting bracket but there isn't, so don't make my mistake and assume it comes with one. If your case only has 3.5" drive bays .. buy a bracket bundled with this.

ALSO (and I knocked an egg off for this) .. it doesn't even come with a SATA III cable. I figured since this is a SATA III powered product it'd come with a SATA III cable but it doesn't. That's like selling someone a television without a power chord.

5 out of 5 eggsBest price for a SSD

Pros: Fast and inexpensive. Great Upgrade, and now you have a backup hard drive.

Cons: No mounting adapter, but I had one. No cloning software, but if you have a Western Ditigal hard drive you can Download Acronis True Image WD Edition. For a Seagate, Seagate Disk Wizard. For others Acronis True Image Trial. A little extra time, but not worth an egg.

Other Thoughts: Bought for my 15 year old grandsons computer, Gigabyte 78LMT, AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core, EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti Graphics. He is a moderate gamer, he said it works great and a noticeable improvement. Not as fast as a Samsung, but a lot cheaper.

4 out of 5 eggsNot Ultra more like Plus

Pros: Its a good SSD reads and writes faster then my segate barrcuda drives on my older pc. my motherboard read it on first boot.

Cons: the drive has a mind of its own like sometimes it will boot fast and sometimes it boot like my older pc. my intel 530 series boots up faster and no lags at all but hey u have to pay more for the intel.

Other Thoughts: In though not bad of a drive for the SSD but should be a lil bit cheaper cuz its not Ultra more like Plus.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and Inexpensive

Pros: Very fast, especially compared to my old PC's HDD. I honestly don't feel much of a difference between this drive and a Samsung 840 Evo that I used on a different machine. Can't beat the price!

Cons: None at all. It's fast, inexpensive, light, and sips power. What more can you ask?

Other Thoughts: If you're thinking about getting an SSD of this capacity, look no further.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fast boot up/ shut down

Cons: The only difference i see from a ssd and a hdd is the boot up time, it says 6 gb/s on the box, well thats a lie, i was transfering files on it and the transfer rate was like 4 mb per second so thats the only con. other ssds may be faster, not sure, this is my first ssd

5 out of 5 eggsFast, solid, cheap!

Pros: High read/write speeds for the price ($60.00USD on sale :) Boots Windows nearly as fast as my Evo's and M6 with the same hardware configuration... Thin design makes it great for laptops with narrow hard drive bays.

Cons: Only real "con" I can think of, is the weight of the drive itself. It has always been my finding that the lighter the hardware, the lower the quality. Although the drive performs very well, the life expectancy could be shorter than my Evo, which is over twice the weight. Not enough of a con to deduct an egg for me though....

Other Thoughts: If you are upgrading a laptop from a spinning drive or upgrading a desktop for everyday use, this budget drive IS your best bet! SanDisk make very good products and have great customer support. Not as fast as the higher end SSD's that are geared toward gaming, but great for home and office use! So far I have owned it for a month and time will tell how long it lasts, but SSD's in general tend to last a long time.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Drive

Pros: Fast drive with low power consumption while active.

Cons: Bought unit in Jan. 2014 for my netbook to use in the Philippines where we have a home. On August 1, drove to a local store to connect to the internet. Turned on the netbook and it said no Harddrive. The Sandisk SSD was dead. Checked it out in an external case using disk manager, could not find or recognize it. When I return to the US, will contact supplier about its warrantee. Bios did not locate or recognize drive.

Other Thoughts: Kept the old drive and used /W program to duplicate the SSD drive so that if it failed I would have a useable replacement.
