3 out of 5 eggsWR300N File transfer rates

Pros: Install can be significantly reduced if you are connected to the internet when you are installing. Otherwise you cannot access the admin menu. You are not told this. Great idea over other bridges I have used.
Auto connects when computer is turned on.

Cons: File transfer speeds, Wireless LAN, are significantly slower to my other WiFi USB connection. Which did not reconnect when the computer came out of sleep or turned on.
Internet speed is again slower but livable.
Streaming over LAN seems adequate.

Other Thoughts: Relatively inexpensive way to install Bridge. Did not check out repeater or wireless hotspot. As I did not purchase it for these applications. Would consider another unit at the same discounted price to extend WiFi to garage.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Functional

Pros: This thing is awesome I have tested all modes already and did some serious streaming tests using it as a repeater. I streamed Netflix movies to 3 devices and music to two other devices all at the same time while they were connected to this device. No hiccups or stalls.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: The setup is absolutely flawless when you follow the directions. I had no problems changing any of the default settings and it only took 40secs to complete the hook up to my home network.

its a problem.```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````

3 out of 5 eggsWhat the hell

Pros: Cool Idea not bad price

Cons: Pain in the isheal touberosity to set up this freakin thing is so pickey to set up its disgusting also it sometimes takes over 90 sec for it to decide to connect to the PC you have it plugged into to modify settings. Ill have to post another review when i get this thing to actually work but this device is not for the novice or the faint of heart. Im a college trained IT professional and i cant get this freakin thing to connect properly

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful

Pros: -Simple plug and configure design
-Easy to follow instructions
-Ethernet cable came with it
-Nice and small

Cons: -None as of yet.

Other Thoughts: I was a little hesitant on getting this product at first due to the lack of reviews. Before I had this installed, I couldn't walk outside and still have WiFi. This fixed that problem. Before I installed it, i was getting Mbps download speed and 1 Mbps upload speed...now im getting 40 Mbps download and 8 Mbps upload speed. This device is awesome, and i would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs better connection.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like it should.

Pros: Fills out the dead coverage spots in my condo. I no longer drop my internet radio as I go from room to room, and with the improved signal my video streaming is pretty much trouble free.

Initial setup was straightforward and intuitive.

Looks and feels as rugged as a power tool.

Cons: Was a bit tricky for me to reset and reconfigure, if it is not reset properly with the little pinhole thing it becomes dumb and won't allow you to access the config menu at all until it is "flashed" or reset properly.

There were no FAQs or troubleshooting tips in the box or on the website.

Other Thoughts: I am unexpectedly using this as a wireless bridge for my new television, which is internet ready but for WiFi requires a proprietary USB adapter, sold separately!!! (Seriously?)

No matter, I reconfiged this into a wireless bridge to my wifi router (one of three options in the advanced settings, the other two being wireless repeater and wireless access point), plugged it into the ethernet jack on my TV and now my TV thinks it's got a wired connection to my router and provides me with my promised internet services, wirelessly. A small victory as the WR300N costs less than the proprietary WiFi adapter and said adapter is backordered well into next month.

Lastly, while doing it's new job as a wireless bridge for my TV, it continues to do double duty as a wireless repeater. I seriously thought it would shut down the repeating function once it was a wireless bridge, but no it continues to do that as well, quite helpful.

All in all I am very happy with this product.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing device

Pros: Once configured to your router this device just does what its supposed to. Extends the range of my trusty Lynksis WRT54G to a quite impressive wifi footprint.

Cons: a little difficult to configure but once you do, just plug it into any power outlet and your gtg for life

Other Thoughts: Extends to the outside parking lot and firepit! Where there was ZERO signal before we now get 2 - 3 bars on wireless devices through drywall and windows for up to about 65 feet away from device.

Plays xbox and performs at high speeds at this range.
