It is, quite simply, a superb product exceeding expectations across all categories. The energy-draw, in particular, pleases; its actually measured usage (by wattage meter) beggars belief. The use of interior space evinces design engineering well and truly informed by real-world use -- would that more products did so. The "crisper" drawers's temperatures/humidity can be independently and accurately modulated. The doors's compartmentalizing is flexible and excellent in both capacity and utility. The interior structure is such as to facilitate a wide range of useful configurations which can be readily altered to meet changing needs. Post-Thanksgiving turkey, anyone? I would, however, suggest using a capacious, external inlet waterline filter to obviate having to roll this thing around too often. While its rollers are adequate to the task, neither svelte nor agile springs to mind as descriptor. Pros continued under, "Other." Cons: NONE, except that I bought my refrigerator elsewhere at an, effectively, FAR higher price. (Yes, I adjusted my price paid on a same-to-same model comparison.) Okay, this is hearsay: I understand that Samsung's customer service can be appallingly bad. That said, I have a plethora of Samsung products across a wide range of their product lines: three SSD's, 38 2-TB hdd's, three 23" monitors, induction stove-top/oven, dishwasher (uber-quiet!), microwave, external DVD-burner, DVD-player, HDTV-DVR, et cetera.) None of these has ever suffered so much as the slightest hiccup; I sorely doubt that this refrigerator will prove different. Okay, Samsung, one shouldn't have to choose between "engineering" and "customer service." Forced to so choose, I'll take excellent engineering every time. On that point, I should think that this "Smooth" skinned version would likely prove even easier.

Presuming reasonable back vent space ("chimney," I stipulated three inches), one can frame this refrigerator quite tightly on sides and top while maintaining adequate air flow for energy efficient operation.

Buy it. I'm certain that you'll be delighted that you did.
