This combo includes 2 pc of the 2-in-1 Touch Screen Stylus Ballpoint Pen, which is specifically designed for Apple iPad, iPad 2, The new iPad 3, Iphones, Ipod Touch and other High-End Touch screen electronics that use the latest capacitive touch screen technology such as the iPhone 4S. Generally you know you have a capacitive touch screen device if you can navigate the screen easily with your finger tip without applying too much pressure. Combining the convenience of a ballpoint pen and soft stylus touch tip, it provides a firm and balanced feel, ensures precise touch and control, and gives you the smoothest navigation without scratching the screen. It’s also a Clip Pen Cap style Ballpoint Pen (Replaceable Ink Refill) which can be clipped onto your pocket, book, diary, etc., you will only need to carry 1 writing utensil around for writing or navigating electronic devices. Please watch out for stylus out on the market that are not specifically designed for capacitive touch screen, but for older resistive technology, those stylus will not work and will damage your screen. Ink color: Black. Pen/stylus Color: Silver x 1, Metallic Gray x 1.
Cheap, but not bad
Pros: Low price. Works as a stylus and as a pen. Looks decent, and I like the pocket-clip better than the others that have the little ball at the end. Nice fine-point on the pen. Black ink.
Cons: Plastic -- feels kinda cheap. Plastic pocket- clip would probably break if you put too much pressure on it. But it looks good to others unless you maybe let them hold it. Pen writes okay, but I've had a problem with the ink running out. Shook it a few times and it started flowing again. I'm not sure if you can replace the inner pen cartridge. The "chromicized" plastic seems like it could scratch easily, but unless you're dropping them on rocks or rubing sandpaper on it, it won't be a problem. Basically, as long as you treat these somewhat gingerly, they're just as good as any metal pen -- but if you need something durable that will stand up to rough usage, then look for something else.
Other Thoughts: The photo shown above makes the difference between the two colors seem way more drastic than they really are. I almost couldn't tell which one was the lighter one until I held them side-by-side under a light (the charcoal colored one it the photo just isn't as dark as it appears) Even with the cons I mentioned, for a few bucks per pen/stylus, they're still a pretty decent value.
