1 out of 5 eggsno good

Pros: stylish looks, usb 3.0 is pretty fast

Cons: did not last. i only got to use this thing about 5 times putting data on and taking it off before it crashed. the drive just will not show up on my computer anymore. i tried everything to fix it with the help of some users of sevenforums.com and nothing worked.

Other Thoughts: the drive didnt last long before it stopped working, even though it was barely used, never dropped, never exposed to any static, and it was pretty much babied.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks OK

Pros: It's USB 3.0 and works quite well. As are other similar devices, it's formatted and ready to work. It's nice and slim too.

Cons: While it works fine, it's a little slow for USB 3.0. It is as advertised. The cap is separate.

Other Thoughts: Good choice for an economical USB 3.0 flash drive.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks as Described

Pros: Works at USB 3.0 speeds as described. Very fast read and writes. No problems using it with several PCs. Good value.

Cons: Cap falls off as others have mentioned. I threw it away.

1 out of 5 eggsNot USB 3.0

Pros: Price was decent, works with both USB 2.0 and 3.0 as advertised. Also the drive is nice and study which is always a plus.

Cons: Lost the cap within a couple hours of owning it. Very poorly designed since the cap doesn't snap at all and slides off way to easy.

Also the USB 3.0 isn't really USB 3.0, the flash drive basically run as if its USB 2.0 regardless of using a USB 3.0 port or not. The transfer rates were absolutely terrible.

In addition to the bad transfer rates the thumb drive actually started causing other difficulties with my laptop. Not sure why but as soon as I plugged it in it would interfere with my wireless mouse.

Very frustrating, wouldn't recommend this product.

Other Thoughts: I wish I could get a refund but since I lost the cap at work within two hours of getting it I guess I'm out of luck :(

5 out of 5 eggsTCELL - USB 3.0 Flash Drive 16GB

Pros: Only using USB 2 with it...but this sucker is very fast. At least 4 or 5 times faster than a standard (old model PNY) USB 2 drive.

Cons: Forget the cap...I put it in a drawer. The only other minor issue is the case is very smooth and not easy to pull out of tight places, but not a big problem.

Other Thoughts: Would buy this product again...but as noted, haven't had it very long. All I can say is the drive is very fast formatted to NTFS which I did at once. It's default is FAT32.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Fast and Reliable

Pros: This flash drive is very fast! It has an aluminum enclosure, unpretentious blue LED activity indicator, and an unassuming appearance without flashy logos and colors.

Cons: No cons

Other Thoughts: The read/write speeds are as advertised, I tested it at just under 70 MB/s read, and just over 37 MB/s write (for comparision, I have a fairly new Transend 8GB 3.0 that tested at just under 55 MB/s read, 18 MB/s write). I use it for storing all of my IT homework files. I have it standing in a Syba Docking Extension on my desk which is connected to the back of my tower on the floor. The cap has never fallen off in my bag and it works nicely on the PCs at school.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent, fast

Pros: I bought this on a deal, usually buy Patriot or Corsair, I have USB 3.0 thumb drives from each.

This is faster, for me, than both of the above.

I haven't done exhaustive tests, and I don't have the software to do so, but I was surprised how fast this drive was. Much faster than the others I have, even when connected to a USB 2.0 socket.

Cons: I don't think the lid will remain in custody, it doesn't seem too secure.

Other Thoughts: I think the USB 3.0 standard and the equipment produced is going through a rapid phase of change.

Early USB 3.0 thumb drives I own are MUCH slower than this and were much more expensive.

So far, this is a cool piece of kit.
