Great remake DS RPG!
Pros: I love to play games that have never come to the US before. It was a dream come true for me to have an opportunity to play the game. This is Dragon Quest at it's finest- awesome redone graphics and classic music. The turn-based gameplay always reminds me of the Mother/ Earth Bound games. This is a fun game to adventure in!
Cons: Can be rather diffucult, some progress can be also hard to figure out at times.
Other Thoughts: This is a classic RPG remade for a new and old generations. Get Dragon Quest V for the DS also (if you can find it)!

Classic turn based RPG returns
Pros: The main quest is rather lengthy, broken up into 5 chapters. The first four go rather quickly and act as introductions, but the fifth is a good deal longer. Overall it took me about 40-50 hours to complete the main quest. It would probably take longer for someone new to the game (as I've already played this on it's original release for the NES).
Cons: Not for people who dislike turn based combat, because you'll be doing it a lot.
Other Thoughts: The script of the game has been completely rewritten. Each area in the game has a different accent, ranging from French, to Russian, to British. This could be considered a con, as it's a bit harder to understand some of the people you talk to in the game. I personally enjoy it, as it adds more personality to the game. It's the next best thing to having voice actors.
