Does make the impact of the stick hitting the drumpad a LITTLE quieter, but not much. Cons: Was hoping these would quiet down the drumming a lot more than they do. It's definitely not enough to play at night while others are sleeping. And while playing as a band w/my middle boy on drums, we have to turn up the TV/stereo to keep the drums from drowning out the actual music. Other Thoughts: We have the RB1 drum set. Heard that the drumpads are quieter on the RB2 Wireless set, so maybe we should upgrade and then try the silencer pads on it. Did you find this review helpful?
