AT&T CL2909 Speaker Phone Skips
Pros: Pretty nice all around wall and desk phone, and does not require a wall power adaptor which is great.
Cons: The speaker phone does not work very well. For some reason when you have an automated system on the other end which speaks in a monotone the speaker phone breaks up. You get good voice segments separated by skipps every few seconds. Make listening to voice mail systems difficult. On the other hand -- highly modulated voice -- it seems to work ok. Strange and definly does not meet expectations.
Other Thoughts: Not sure what to think. I've had good luck with AT&T phones in the past. The speaker phone issue left me undertain wheater I'll buy AT&T again. Just don't know.

Great Corded Phone
Pros: Has all the features you would want from a home phone. Caller ID, Speaker phone, lists, etc. Great for land line use to have in case of emergency when the power goes out.
Cons: Takes two AA batteries to make the digital display and the options that go with it to work. Not sure why as I used to have a corded phone that worked right off the voltage from the line itself with no need for batteries for the digital display.
Other Thoughts: I've had the phone for several months now and have had no problems and haven't needed to replace the batteries. Overall a great corded phone. I keep it next to my work desk and prefer it over a cordless for the fact that there is never interference from other devices.
