2 out of 5 eggsDo Not Buy.

Pros: I will admit that these ear buds have good sound. The low frequency response is impressive for the size and price and the highs are quite crisp.

Cons: Before you can listen to music using these, you have to get them to stay in your ear. That's near impossible. Yes, they come with a half dozen or so different rubber moldings for different sized ears but that doesn't matter. I've tried every molding for weeks at a time hoping that "this will be the one" but none of them are. The ear buds fall out of your ear constantly and it will drive you insane.

This "falling out of the ear" thing is exacerbated by the fact that the cord is very stiff so any head movement at all essentially makes the ear bud cable pull the ear bud out of your ear.

Other Thoughts: Maybe I'm in the minority here but I hate these things. I wouldn't give these to an enemy as a gift...

4 out of 5 eggsSolid sound

Pros: Solid well built, feels like they will last. Sound is way above average but not Bose-like. They are good.

Cons: none I could think of

Other Thoughts: This company is really into their business of headphones. Go to their site and read their tutorials to learn all there is to know about headphones.

3 out of 5 eggsGood value, but don't expect wonders

Pros: Good value
Comfortable
Plug fits over my iphone 4 case (case crown)
It's easier to put it on (but it comes out easier...see cons)
Sound is comparable to slightly more expensive M6
Sounds better than stock iphone earphones

Cons: You can hear the wire tap (e.g., not good for running)
Boomy and tinny at the same time (this is comparing to audio technica ath-m50)
Compared to M6, the earplug pops out easier
No mic for using it with iphone

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Sound Incredible Value

Pros: This item arrived in fantastic Newegg packaging as usual. Sounds is great for the price I paid. It even comes with a small case. Fit comfortably in my ears with the ear buds they come in. If they don't fit for your, there are three more pairs for you to try. Best value I've got for a long time. I bought a total of 4 headphones for different purposes during the pre- and post- thanksgiving sales. I am very happy with this one, more so than the more expensive Philips Stretch Headsets.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Newegg rocks! I love shopping with you.

5 out of 5 eggsGood value

Pros: Not an audiophile set but very, very good sound in this price range (<$20, $10 on sale). Sturdy-built reinforced wires, multiple ear cushions.

Cons: Highs could be brighter, lows could be lower but at this price I cannot complain.

Other Thoughts: Some users seem to confuse model M9 with M9P. M9 does not have a switch or microphone and is therefore less functional with cell phones and ipods than the M9P, which is basically the same set of earhones plus a microphone and one-button switch. M9P costs a little more but is worth it if that's your intended use.

5 out of 5 eggsCan't beat them for the price

Pros: Great build quality. Nice cord, aluminum body, plenty of ear pieces, rest nicely in your ear, great sound for the price point.

Cons: For the price, none. Comparable sounding ear buds are $50+. These were $11.99 to my door!

Other Thoughts: They ARE a little bright when you play music that's already treble heavy (dance, tecnho, some rap, etc)... They sound perfectly fine with music levelled NORMALLY when recorded (pretty much everything else). I use them for motorcycle rides, working out, etc... They're essentially used for activities... Environments where a slightly treble heavy sound is welcome to overcome outside noise. The sensitivity is slightly less than the cheapos due to what I assume is a better driver, so they'll be just a notch quiter than a set of skull candy, etc. A/B test these against most earbuds under $50 (I have 3 sets) and the others sound quite tinny and/or muddy. Great buy.
