Newegg is NOT that great....
Pros: I have not even been able to use the product yet, maybe it will be so amazing it will make it all better. (But I doubt it)
Cons: When my package was being delivered the driver had the package on his shoulder as he walked up to my house. This box is approximately 8"x8"x9' he had it supported midway on his shoulder and both ends were bouncing up and down. Being 9 foot long and only 8" square you would have to be a moron to think you could support it in the middle and NOT damage it. Anyway I mentioned the obvious damage and he just shrugged and got back in his truck and left. I opened the package and inspected the antenna and sure enough it was quite extensively damaged. I immediately called Newegg to report it and and they at first didn't even believe me that it was damaged. They wanted to send out a ups person to inspect it, before they would even do anything. When I became very upset at having to wait 3-5 days for inspection and then another 3-5 for shipping for a replacement, they finally relented. They promised me they would just ship out a replacement overnight shipping.
Other Thoughts: Four days later I finally get a shipping email it has JUST left the warehouse. I will be very surprised if I actually get it tomorrow. Oh and by the way when I told the representative, that I felt I deserved a partial refund or price reduction for all my trouble, they actually laughed at me. Can you believe that? And then they said "well expediting and sending your order out without inspecting the first product is already a COURTESY sir". A courtesy? Replacing a damaged product so the customer gets what they have already PAID for (a week or more after THEY SHOULD have gotten it) is a courtesy?
