In fact my son and step sons use mine all the time, I purchased them one each. However, their copters are not as good of quality as this one. Flying was very easy to pick up. Has stable capabilities, easy to operate, can handle minor trauma if it runs into something. I amazed at how well this is built. Cons: Don't have anything negative to say. Other Thoughts: I really have no experience with these and am thoroughly happy with the quality, operation and price. especially in comparison with the ones I bought my sons. The S107 is much better, quieter, easy to operate than the ones I purchased for them. I had assumed they were the exact same, but they weren't. More difficult to operate and one of them had to replace the tail rudder twice in one night. The S107 has been flown for two weeks by everyone and I have never had to replace anything. My 8 year old can fly it with no problem. Cons: Takes a while to charge (about 40 minutes), must keep line of site for the remote control to work. Once I got the trim adjusted properly it was very stable at hovering and control. I was able to control like a pro in 30 minutes of fly time. Cons: Would have been nice to be able to charge off the controller. Other Thoughts: Moving the helicopter forward causes it to rise so you have to back off the throttle. Took a little finesse to learn that. Not sure if this is the case with all RC helicopters so I didn't list as a con. Just a note. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? Easy to recharge with USB charge cord. I use my iphone ac adapter with the USB. Liked so much I ordered another one. Little nicks in the rotors easily repaired with tape. Cons: Would be neater if front light was a white search light that could be turned on/off.
