Pros: great item for my 16 mo old Granddaughter in Tampa, alot of knowledge and entertainment. I;d give it 4 eggs. but the shipping, tracking and customer service sucks for 1SaleADay. I doubt I'll ever deal with them again, never got answers to my e-mails. 1 egg rating and thats generous

Other Thoughts: Thank you Humanist for your information, but saying a product is terrible due to a _recommendation_ by an unknown number pediatricians that _suggest_ it's not good for children under a certain age to use it is really narrow-minded.

Firstly, because the product suggests 0-48 Months; 2-Years is 24 Months, or half the time this product is recommended for; and I'm sure over an entire 2-Year span, a child could have watched this set dozens of times.

Secondly, while the recommendation is noted, and I agree with it, everyone should have a fair right to decide what they do with information presented to them, rather than fear-mongered into the beliefs of someone else, just as everyone has the right to raise their child as they wish.

And finally, pediatricians (as well as regular doctors for adults) recommend that anytime you get a little cough or runny nose, you should come in to be sure it's nothing serious, which, while true, I'd guess it's an extreme minority of people who adhere to that advice, because it's over-cautious and highly inconvenient.

Cons: Do your research about media such as this before purchasing. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that “pediatricians should urge parents to avoid television viewing for children under the age of two years.”
