Treat it as you would a High Quality Scope & you'll like it. Though it's own IR LED's only provide 40-50 foot of night vision light, We have Night Vision Security cameras & our yards are awash with IR Light, so these Goggles work just fine. What a blast watching our 4 legged friends, playing around at night or seeing where they call home. For the money, you can't go wrong & the fact that you can get pictures in both modes of viewing & store them on a SD-CHIP, what more could you want. Cons: Not any big deal, but you might want to gently tighten the screws if any are loose. Other Thoughts: Please read the instructions & follow them!
