5 out of 5 eggsBright Light! Bright Light!

Pros: I've been playing with many different flashlights and this is a great little flashlight. It is nice that it uses batteries you can find readily available. The lanyard is always nice on these little lights, and it is very lightweight when compared to other units around the same size.

The brightness is awesome! It would make a great weapon against gremlins!

Cons: I recently used it for a task up in the attic and after 20-30 minutes I accidently dropped it and picked it up by the head part and noticed it was a bit hot. I would worry that it could cause combustion if left on and touching something that would catch fire.

I'm not a big fan of the battery compartment. I've had these cheap little holders fall apart and your flashlight is useless without power. So far this one is holding up. Only time will tell!

Strobe flashing? That should be another switch all together. I understand some need that feature when riding their bikes, or got lost in the woods and are trying to get attention, but it's just annoying as sin for me! It reminds me of those lamps you gotta twist that switch twice to turn it off and twice to turn it on! Optional is always better than forced!

Other Thoughts: I thought the light was a beautiful bright white and out of most comparisons, it is! Next to a RLFL-1100 that also uses 3w (3 D cells though) I found it to be even a whiter white! I wouldn't have thought you could get whiter than white! Flashlights these days sure have come a long way!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Deal

Pros: I purchased yet another unit. My review is the same as my previous review(s) with this flashlight, with the exception being that this most recent purchase was through the "NeweggFlash" program. It was an excellent purchasing experience.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Sign up for the "NeweggFlash" subscription and take advantage of some really awesome low-pricing deals.

5 out of 5 eggsLED Flashlight

Pros: This is a great little flashlight. I buy these flashlights every year and give them as stocking stuffers.

Cons: No cons I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Great flashlights! I keep one in my glove box in both of my vehicles, also at my desk and nightstand. Good lights.

5 out of 5 eggsSecond Review, 5th Purchase

Pros: I just received my 5th purchase of this flashlight. I own (2) and have purchased another (3) units for friends. The "grip" size is perfect, the construction is of high quality, the beam is a great multipurpose light dispersal fixed setting. The switch has a positive click on/off feel to it. With fully charged batteries, I have had a maximum run time of 6 hours (+) with this unit.

The (3) AAA battery requirement is an excellent size/demand flashlight design. I take it on hikes when the daylight ends before the hike, and this unit has never let me down. I have dropped mine several times, with no functional damage (just cosmetic) to the unit.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: A great flashlight. I disagree with the reviews claiming better flashlights can be purchased at half the price of this unit. Even at its standard price (not on sale), this is an excellent flashlight purchase. When it's on sale, you won't find a better unit for the money.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice for the Price

Pros: Bright, Lightweight, people I showed it to thought it cost much more. I guess sometimes you can get a little more than you paid for. Pouch included, and it's just the right size to fit in your hand (or your mouth, in a pinch). I keep mine in the car console 'cause I won't cry if it gets snatched.

Cons: Really, can't think of any other than, as others said, you have to cycle through the strobe. If you want an expensive flashlight, then buy something else.

Other Thoughts: I don't know what it's life will be...time will tell.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the $18 price

Pros: Nice case attaches to belt. Fits in the hand nicely. Very Bright spot can be seen in daiylight.

Cons: Case is a little big for the product

Other Thoughts: My friend has a 600 lumen and my spit is brighter than his but his has a wider illumination. His light only lasts minutes continious use. This one lasts much longer....

4 out of 5 eggsDecent flashlight

Pros: Bright light. Powered by 3 AAA batteries. Convenient size. Fits the hand nicely. On-off located in end of the barrel. Sturdy aluminum alloy housing.

Cons: Could do without the strobe. I would prefer a low-power setting instead. Probably wouldn't have purchased at regular price.
