Pros: Fairly cheap, throws out quite a lot of light, enough to see my keyboard and other stuff in my home office after it gets dark, as this is the sole source of illumination. Does the job I wanted it for basically. Probably draws a lot less power than the old halogen desk lamp (deceased) that its replacing which is a major plus in my book. Funky purple colour to the base and shade parts that the kids dig ... Man ... :)

Cons: Compared to the afore-said hot, bright halogen lamp its nowhere near as bright and the light has a blue-ish "LED" shade to it that I'm really not a fan of compared to the warmer shade from the old lamp. Then again I knew that these were the trade-offs going in though I guess I'd hoped that the light would be brighter and "warmer" or whiter. Feels like it would soon start to fall apart if being re positioned and re-angled a lot but thats not my use case so no concern for me.

Other Thoughts: By itself can illuminate a 10x12' office sufficient for my needs by bouncing the light off the white ceiling, all for a fairly cheap price and a really low, 3W, power draw. Overall not bad. Dinged an egg because it didn't quite meet the expectations I'd somehow set in my own mind in terms of brightness and the kind of light thrown, which may be really unfair of me, but at the end of the day a nice piece of kit and really does what I wanted. Would be happy to buy another of these and if On Light comes out with a brighter version that throws a whiter/redder kind of light I would buy one of those in a flash.

Pros: It's nice, fairly bright. The magnetic base is pretty slick. I currently have it set up on my magnetic closet doors. I went with the purple and dug the colors more than I thought I would. The orange flourishes at the base of the neck and near the bulb are nice. It feels pretty sturdily built. LED is conserves energy

Cons: The light is bluer than I cared for. It's also fairly a focused beam, so it won't work well if you point it at a wall to diffuse the light.

Other Thoughts: I don't know if I would buy it again, but I like it enough now that I have it.
