1 out of 5 eggsWould be OK if bottles actually fit

Pros: It seems like a decent wine frig at a competitive price.

Cons: It is a bit on the noisy side but the insane thing is standard size wine bottles do not fit well in the shelves. The fit is so tight that you cannot get the shelves to go in/out and it gets worse with fatter bottles (Pinot Noir, don't even think about Champagne). Ridiculous...

Other Thoughts: Constant frustration trying to get bottles to fit in the too small shelves. Avoid.

2 out of 5 eggsDo yourself a favor

Pros: None really.

Cons: Do yourself a favor and skip over this unit. First the instructions with it state that the back of the unit needs to be 10" from the wall so the unit really protrudes into the room. This is not stated on the website and it is too expensive to return a 65lb piece. Also the door is right hinged ONLY and can't be reversed. So placing it is limited. As others have stated the space between the shelves is very tight. I was resigned to the fact that Pinot bottles would not fit but about 1/2 of my bottles don't fit. I ended up taking out 2 shelves to fit larger bottles in. Obviously that reduces capacity. Finally the shelves have no stops. It is only a matter of time before someone pulls a shelf completely out and sends 4 bottles of wine crashing to the floor. Look else where.

4 out of 5 eggsMostly Good

Pros: Cools the wine.
Two temp. zones.
Looks good.
Temp. controls on the outside outside (you don't have to open the door).
No compressor, etc.
Easy setup.

Cons: Slightly oversize bottle are a problem.
A little high pitched noise in a quiet room.

Other Thoughts: Seems to work well with good temperature control. Rather noisy at first, or when you add wine at room temperature. Gradually quiets down, but at its quietest, there still a little high pitch fan noise which is disturbing in a very quiet room. 140 watts is max. I have it set for 60 degrees (for reds) and 50 for whites. At that setting, it takes about 40 watts, which seems to be continuous.

You'll learn to appreciate the difference in wine bottle size and shape. You'll only get 32 bottles inside if you pick the slim bottles; larger diameter bottles will require removing adjacent shelves, and sparkling wines are a real squeeze.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Purchase

Pros: Holds 32 bottles, has dual temperature control for red and white wines, purchase cost.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is a great wine cooler, my old one only held 18 bottles, so now I can expand my collection - runs very quietly and is lit, which makes for easy identification of labels.
