Well Worth it
Pros: Compact in size. Pleasant to look at. Reasonable operational noise level.
Other Thoughts: Infrared Portable Space Heaters are easier on the electric usage than standard electric heaters. Last year when fuel oil reached $4.25 per gallon is was $1000 to fill the tank at the beginning of winter. At that rate it would have cost me over $3000 to heat my house for the winter. I purchased 3 Infrared Portable Space Heaters, (various makes). At the end of winter I used less than half of the oil in the tank. With paying for the Infrared Portable Space Heaters and the increased electric bill about $1000 stayed in my pocket rather than the utilities. I will be putting in a propane system in the spring. Propane is less than half the cost of fuel oil, but these units are save my backside. I added this one to increase the temp in the living room. The units I have will be used to heat the second floor of the house when it is being used.

Useful to warm a chilly room
Pros: Sleek looking; Warms room evenly; inexpensive compared to in-store purchaces; easy to clean; low maintenance
Cons: Not as cheap to operate as you think; Not great as primary source of heat of room larger than about 150 sq/ft;
Other Thoughts: Decent heater; non-drying heat
