Pros: Mounts easily with removal and reinstallation of one bolt using a 14mm socket. Very flexible and works well supporting my MacBook Pro 13" computer. On most paved roads it is a very stable platform.

Cons: On the way back to Washington state after a brief trip to the midwest, I was stopped by a Minnesota highway patrolman. He told me that having a computer visible by the driver was illegal in many states, including that one! I was running a GPS program, but was told that I could be accused of watching movies while driving, thus being a traffic hazard. So make sure this is legal in any state you plan on using it in.

Pros: It will mount to most vehicle. Bracket and hinges seem sturdy enough for my 17" laptop. It's the heavy duty version vs the MS-525 and the lighter non heavy duty MS-426. The hinges are different from the 525 model but this look more heavy duty overall. Come with everything to secure the laptop... Most of it anyway. Doesn't come with installation instruction, but if you can't install this, then you shouldn't have this in the first place.

Cons: It isn't cheap and for the price I really wanted the stabilizer because without that, it will wobble a little depend on what kind of car/truck you drive. The plastic laptop holder doesn't seem to be made of high quality plastic like polymer but instead some cheap breakable plastic so I don't know how that will hold up overtime. I have a Suzuki Kizashi 2012 and I have to play around with the base joint and spend a few dollars on bolts and nuts to get it tighten up with the seat. It also block my glove compartment, but it's has alot of moving position so I'm sure I'll find a way around. For it to not wobble so much, you have to tighten it down and require some drilling (you will like this product more if you do that).

Other Thoughts: There's not alot of choices when it come to laptop car mounts that can do up to 17" laptop and at a somewhat reasonable price so this is my only choice. I just hope it doesn't drop my laptop and ruin the seat that it was mounted on. I drive an average 1k mile/week so this will be the ultimate test.

Pros: Very steady, Easy to assemble and dissemble from the passenger seat if needed

Cons: For me, it is so hard to adjust the way that i wanted. Some how the thing that connected to the pad is not a ball which i cannot rotated 360 degree. Also the thing that in the head where you have the handle moving it up and down, it kept dropping (i mean it not stay in the same place as i want it to be)

Other Thoughts: As i just use it for about a day and apparently my car got stolen so i cannot play with it more, but i think it is a really good car mount since it not shaking when i'm driving.
