5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Always skeptical about ordering no name brands. It is either hit or miss, and this was a hit out of the park. Great price, works not issues. Does what is supposed to, still works

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cable At A Great Price

Pros: The cable works fine and costs less than $7 with free shipping. You can't beat that price! Anyone looking for a component cable for their Wii should definitely invest in this alternative, as opposed to paying $30 to $40 for a cable of supposedly higher quality.

Cons: Honestly, I can't think of any. Unless the cable stops working in short order - in which case I'll revise my opinion - there's nothing wrong with the product; it does the job at a fifth of the price of other cables.

5 out of 5 eggsNice cable works fine

Pros: Noticeable improvement over composite connection.
Much lower price than "official" Nintendo.
Very reasonable quality considering price paid.

Cons: No cons.

Other Thoughts: Ends up I can't use this cable because my AV receiver does not enough analog audio inputs, long story. So I have to go with an HDMI adapter. Not the cables' fault, so no eggs off.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks! Satisfied!

Pros: Low price!
Free shipping!
Adequate length!
Not over-packaged!
Higher-than-expected quality plugs for the price!

Got this cause I received a Wii as a gift with only a composite cable. Wanted 480p (progressive) which requires Component output, for improved quality in widescreen (Wii games & Wii Ware, Hulu Plus, Netflix).

In games/apps where normal text used to be rather blurry from a distance, I no longer have trouble. The overall picture quality in widescreen games/apps is "cleaner" on my 720p LED-backlit LCD TV.

Cons: The picture will always look distastefully pixelated in some Wii games. But this is not the cable's fault.

Other Thoughts: I bought a cheap component cable from a different vendor for about $5 (for my PS2) a year or two ago, and the cables were THIN but it worked just fine.

Like another person said, buying "high end" cables is a waste of money for the most part. If I have a refund/exchange policy available for DoA, I always go cheap on cables (except for the data cables inside my computers) -- if it works, why spend more? Bragging rights? If you've got a high end AV system you should be hiding/protecting cables with cable management anyway!

5 out of 5 eggsHappy With Purchase

Pros: Cheap
Gets the Job Done
Better Picture Quality on HD Televisions

I bought these cables for about $6 with free shipping. I do not regret this purchase one bit! I bought these cables so that I could play my old Game-Cube games on the Wii with better picture quality. The picture quality was definitely improved using these component cables vs the standard composite cables.

Cons: None

Well...
See Other Thoughts

Other Thoughts: I cant be 100% sure that this is the cables fault however...

While playing Resident Evil 1: Remake, which is a Game-Cube title that I was playing on the Wii, the picture would go black for 1-3 seconds and my TV would tell me that the resolution changed from 480p to 480i.

I want to say that the reason for this is simply because I'm playing Game-Cube games but the game supports progressive scan, so I'm not sure what caused it.

I want to make it clear that this DID NOT happen every couple of minutes. It happened every few hours or so. It didn't bother me as it didn't happen too often.

I don't understand people who by other cables for upwards of $70. Price means nothing when it comes to digital cables. A digital cable either works or does not work. Also, a $70 set of component cables vs these $6 cables, these $6 give the exact same picture quality as the higher priced ones. FACT
