Many of the comparable solutions have keys that are rubberized and mechanisms that are much like the role out keyboards, they squish rather than giving a crisp response, but the zaggmate has hard plastic keys with nice crisp actuation. No problems with bluetooth disconnects and the link up is functional within a second or two of waking the ipad up. The fit of the ipad in this is very tight when closed and solid when propped up in either orientation when open. The display is held off the keys with soft foam pads so no worries about finger oil transfer onto the display or scratches. Very little weight is added using this and the total thickness when closed is only about a 15mm. The looks are coherent with apple aesthetics so it is overall a very natural looking and behaving addition. Cons: My complaints are fairly petty but here goes anyway. The rubber feet that are included are quiet high friction so it is impossible to spin around on a table and show images or what have you to other people. I replaced them with .050" UHMW tape pieces which are slicker than snot and still don't interfere with typing or normal use. The keys are much smaller than you would have on a normal keyboard but are as large as they could possibly be given the ipads size and certainly no worse than many netbooks. I would recommend a skin for the back of the ipad if you want to keep in pristine looking since this leaves it completely exposed.
