Other Thoughts: My S3 is showing some signs of old age, but the most notorious is the battery going really short on maintaining a good charge level, I looked for a OEM battery to avoid any problems from a cheap manufacturer (who want's to get a cell pack burst on flames on their pocket!)....

I put the battery on the phone and let it charge until it reached the full charge, turn on the phone and after a couple of seconds while showing the booting screen it just shuts off, I try maybe 20 times to turn it on without luck, only once I was able to keep it on for more than 5 minutes but as soon I unplug the cellphone from the charger it shuts off again... the old pack still works and I guess will have to do it until I get a different pack!

Pros: After a couple weeks of regular use, I'm seeing only a 1% drop per hour in standby mode. That's with Wifi, Sync, and High Accuracy GPS all enabled. I listen to podcasts and streaming music on the phone all day and when I go to charge it at night, it'll still have between 60-75% left.

Cons: Can't think of anything. I'll update this review should the performance suddenly drop off, but so far so good.

Other Thoughts: It says "Cell made in Korea. Assembled in China." My original battery just said "Made in China." Other than that, they appear completely identical. I'm well aware of all the knock-offs, but this thing has me fooled.

Says it supports NFC on the label, and NFC software seems to detect the hardware, but I have no way to actually test it.

Pros: Great price, seems to be legit OEM Samsung battery with NFC. Had the battery a week now and it holds a good charge. Happy with the purchase.
