Balancing performance vs. price can always be a delicate balance however Kicker knows how to perfect the combination! The Kicker CVR series woofers are by far the most versatile subs in the Kicker fleet. They are based on the same technology the legendary L5 & L7 solobaric woofers except these are rounded off! The CVR series woofers tend to work best in a vented or ported enclosure but also do work in sealed applications. The CVR12D4 can handle a TRUE 400 watts RMS, and 800 watts Peak so you can toss some pretty serious power to it.

This model CVR12D4 is a dual 4 Ohm subwoofer which we recommend running a Kicker Class D amplifier like the ZX500.1 If running (2) of these woofers we recommend the CVR12D2 as they will match better with Kicker Class D amplifiers.
