5 out of 5 eggsImpressive

Pros: Can't praise them enough. Highly recommend this brand of memory. Performs as well as the bigger brands and will soon be with them at this rate. No errors on Memtest. Loaded XMP profile just fine and sits at right settings. Love the sequential led lighting effect. Components to lighting/Heatshield all solid. Actually tested it with a little pressure and nothing felt like it was going to give.

Cons: Only flaw. Handles a medium OC at best. Rock solid otherwise.

Other Thoughts: Sorry to seem to gush about them. But I feel like I've come across a hidden gem with these.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Memory

Pros: Timings are tight, memory is cost effective, blue lights are cool.

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: this is not a well known name brand yet. but by the way they test their memory and their commitment to a quality product tells me they will be known very soon. The timings are great, and OC is awesome. I compare it to Kingston, Corsair, and G.Skill

5 out of 5 eggsImpressive newer DRAM company

Pros: The blue LEDs look nice. Not too bright. Pulse nicely.

My CPU is a low end Haswell refresh G1840 (1333). BIOS sets this 1600 DRAM to 11-11-11-28. Enabling XMP in BIOS sets to 9-9-9-24.

Windows 8.1 Memory Diagnostics run error free (in either mode).

Memory is nicely packaged. Even includes plastic covers over the PINs.

Cons: I wish they didn't ship via the (slower than USPS) DHL.

Other Thoughts: If I need warranty some day, hopefully that will go as well as the purchase.
Ideally the product will continue to run flawlessly.

5 out of 5 eggsCool

Pros: Memory works at the speed advertised and it looks cool too. The Blue LED on top of each module was a total surprise but fit in with the rest of the blue lights the computer already had.

Cons: none

2 out of 5 eggsFell apart

Pros: Neat sequential pulsing glow between sticks

Cons: Fell apart taking it out of the box - one of the metal shields just plain fell off when removing from package (no, I didn't pry them out of the plastic)

Only pulses blue

Other Thoughts: Items work as intended, not much more to say.

5 out of 5 eggsNew Brand

Pros: Based on ratings and price I went with an unknown brand. It Worked great for my build Asus MA597 with FX4300. I haven't run any benchmarks or done any tweaking, but so far this thing is very fast for a budget build.. The Avexir was recognized in the bios at 1600 and no problems to far. With an ssd the boot times are very fast. I'm happy with this ram. Will be doing some video editing so we will see.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsFITS WITH HYPER 212 EVO

Pros: This ram is very good. I didn't know it came with lights. That was a nice bonus. It WILL fit in a case with the 212 EVO, which is nice. Clock speeds are good, and my machine is running fast.

Cons: None whatsoever.

5 out of 5 eggsGood quality ram

Pros: Good timings, low voltage, nice heatsinks, lights.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I did some research on ram speed and timings before upgrading. The speed and timings I saw recommended the most were 1600 MHz with 9-9-9-24 timings. Did a search on Newegg with those specs and saw these Avexir Core Series.

First thing I noticed was they were on sale at a very good price. Second thing was all the positive reviews. Decided to study the company a bit and turns out they are relatively new to the US but produce some good quality ram. Decided to give it a chance and I am very glad I did.

This ram showed as 1600 MHz right away on my motherboard, but the timings were off at 11-11-11-28. Loaded a XMP profile and they are running great now.

Very nice heatsinks and I really like the lights, not nearly as bright as I feared.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Ram

Pros: + Solid set of Ram
+ LED Lights glow on & off for anaesthetics
+ Large heat sink pad

Cons: - Started at 1333 read frequency
- Provided little improvement in speed (see Other Thoughts)

Other Thoughts: Had this for a couple of days now. Decided to take a risk and test it out. Specs were decently good and had similar timings as my other set of RAM installed to my desktop.

The LED blue lights glow on and off every couple of seconds and add a nice look and atmosphere to the computer. However, the LED lights on the card do make it a bit larger (height wise) by half a cm or so. it connected well and works just great in my system. will be watching it over time.

Another review noted that the motherboard set the frequency rate at 1333. So i took a look through my UEFI and saw mine set it at that speed too. just make sure to set it back to 1600 (or higher if you want to overclock) and everything should be fine.

It didn't provide a noticeable change in speed in my system because i'm using it to replace my 1x8gb Ballistics ram card (having an empty slot that i'll never use didn't feel right) which originally accumulated to 16 gb ram. Since the amount of ram I had is ridiculously excessive for what i'm using it for, there wasn't much of a change. However, for the price i got it at, it was totally worth me looking into. Since it's stated as high performance ram, it should be strongly considered for the price... .. unless it decides to blow up in the near future. Then i'll edit my review :P

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: I received this ram from newegg just today actually! It was supposed to be an upgrade for an older system I still have in use that tops out at 8 gigs total. Very happy with the speed. Just did a few benchmarks and both sticks work great.

Cons: None and to be quite honest, i don't foresee any problems. I rarely in 20 years of building / upgrading computers gave had a bad stick of ram, and we are going back to the 30 pin simm days.

Other Thoughts: I didn't pay attention when I bought these that they light up. The system I installed them to has a windowed side panel with blue lead fans inside already. With the ram's LEDs flashing, it makes it look pretty nice, and reminds me of the warp core for star trek.
