Overview

AVEXIR’s AVD3U21330904G-2CI is a Dual channel 512M x 64-bit 4GB(4096MB) x2 DDR3- 2133MHz CL 9 SDRAM(Synchronous DRAM) memory modules, based on sixteen 256M x 8–bit DDR3 FBGA components per module. Each module kit supports Intel XMP 1.3(Extreme Memory Profiles). Total kit capacity is 8GB.

Each module pair has been tested on various motherboards to run at rated speed at timing of 9-11-10-27 at 1.65V.

The SPDs are programmed to JEDEC standard latency DDR3-1600Hz timing of 11-11-11-28 at 1.5V.

Pros: 1. Detected at 1333MHz at first boot with XMP enabled (which is normal for Core i5 or i7 if not overclocking).

2. The blue LEDs look kinda nice (but they only blink, not glow).

3. Heatspreaders look very cool and thick (part of the reason I bought this set over cheaper RAM).

Cons: 1. The heatspreaders were separated from the RAM at the top (maybe to allow you to remove the LED lights?). I had to manually press it back together.

2. The heatspreader thickness is the same of other memory, so don't that that fool you. Kinda dissapointed me with the quality of Taiwanese-quality RAM.

3. Newegg promo codes don't work because it's not sold by Newegg, but by a second "vendor".
