Pros: I posted a lengthy review of this before, but now that my issue with the defective RAM has been resolved, I felt I just had to write another one. These RAM sticks are very well put together and still look great. The lights have never been a bother and are nice to watch on occasion.

The real reason for me reviewing this again is because of the excellent customer service from the Avexir corporation. On their website they have a place where you can send them an Email, and if you have any problem they are very quick and helpful for solving the issue. They responded to me quickly, told me exactly what to do, and fixed the problem. They were very lenient and open to different ways to fix the problem, always polite, and the replacement arrive fast after I mailed off the defective one. This is the most satisfied I have felt when dealing with a company in a long time.

Cons: One stick was defective, but that was just a fluke. Could happen to anyone. What counts is the ease and swiftness the company has at resolving these issues.

Other Thoughts: I was unsure about buying Avexir RAM to begin with because I didn't know them. Now I do, and I will recommend their RAM to everyone I can. The service is just wonderful, the performance is great, and the way they look is a nice bonus too.

Pros: Feel very sturdy. Look nice just how they are outside the computer. Look really good inside too. Lights are nice looking but not overly bright to were it would be annoying.

Cons: One of the sticks was defective. I contacted Newegg who was completely unhelpful and would only trade out the full set for a replacement, not just trade the broken one for a fixed one. They also couldn't contact the company to ask them to replace it either. Newegg would rather my computer be down for another two weeks like it was when they messed up my last order.
Newegg is bad. They messed this and my last order up horribly in so many ways, the character limit on this is too small to type it all.

Also so you know, if anyone plans to try overclocking this, it will not overclock at all. This is originally 1333 RAM at 9-9-9-27 (I think) and you have to manually clock it or use the XMP 1.2 to set it to 1600 at 9-9-9-24. I tried a minor test to see if it would do any better by pushing the case latency down to 8, wouldn't work at all. I don't know if voltage adjustments would help, its not worth risking damage to the RAM to test it in my opinion. Otherwise though the RAM seems to work pretty great. I haven't had any problem with it really.

Other Thoughts: I contacted Avexir who agreed to let me mail them the one defective stick for and receive a new working one. Much better than newegg service. Said all I have to do is feel out a really basic form, mail them my broken one and they will mail me a working one in just a few days. I like the company pretty well so far.

Pros: Worked perfect right out of the box. Using in an ASUS Sabertooth 990fx MB, even though its a dual channel chipset, ram works great. remember, chipset determines how many channels the ram uses, not the ram itself.

Cons: only thing i found that could have been a con was more that the board initially recognized the ram as 1333mhz, i manualy adjusted timings to 1600mhz, all is good.

Other Thoughts: all in all, ram is great, the lights don't just stay on, they act almost like there is a light controller on board, pretty nice effect.

Pros: cool blue led's, heat spreaders, nicely priced

Pros: When it wasn't causing BSD's it looked cool in my rig.

Cons: I purchased two of these sets for a total of 32 GB. Every stick failed memtest...every stick. Also, I had to basically reattach every heat sink to every stick due to them falling off in the packaging. I have never seen such shoddy workmanship in my life. Avoid this RAM at all costs!

Pros: Pretty to look at

Cons: Memory is defective; I am on my second replacement set. This memory set causes my computer to freeze up within minutes after booting
