3 out of 5 eggsProjection Alarm clock

Pros: I got in a discounted hence, product quality is Ok at that price level.
Its quiet operational and fully functional so far after couple of months use.

Cons: Product design and the getup is not of High quality.
I bought it looking at the "SHARP" trade mark which is bit confusing.

1 out of 5 eggsPure Junk

Pros: None. Only $9.99 W/Free Shipping, but you pay shipping if returned so guess what?

Cons: Totally Unusable. The main display is so leak, it can't be read if you look straight into the screen. It can only be read if at a steep angle from the top. It gets brighter for a short time if the snooze is pushed. The Projection clock sort of works, but is upside down so you had to turn the clock face away from you to get it right side up which doesn't really matter because it's unreadable anyway and my wife threw a towel over it because the main screen is so bright it lit up the whole room.

Guess you could put black tape over the screen if you're really hard up for a ceiling projection clock.

They sent a a replacement which also doesn't work.
Deal Genius via Newegg was the seller. I won't buy anything from Deal Genius them again. Love Newegg, but will be careful if offered from 2nd party in the future.

3 out of 5 eggsmeh

Pros: Bight blue display. Radio sync'd time.

Cons: The radio sync was cool but you have to set your time zone and I still had to change the hour after that. Seems like if it can pull the temperature from the radio waves it should get the right time zone and hour, but to be honest I have no idea where it's pulling the temperature - the clock said 74.3 degrees this morning when it was in the 40s outside and 68 inside.

The bright blue display has a horrible viewing angle, it just looks like a bright blue rectangle when I'm laying in bed. That forces me to look at my ceiling for the time, which is a cool feature but you can't rotate the projection itself, you must rotate the clock. Maybe the horrible viewing angle is part of the alarm clock function, forcing you to get out of bed and stand up to read the time...

Other Thoughts: Only worth the $10 I spent on it.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks within limits

Pros: Atomic time is always correct. Run on battery only, it will last almost a year between battery replacement. Projector is a cute novelty. Can be had on the cheap.

Cons: Temperature will be accurate when run only on batteries. The power dissipation inside the case when the AC cord is used will raise the circuit board temperature 8 degrees or so = inaccurate reading. When run on AC - display is too bright and can't be dimmed. Projector can't be rotated to preferred orientation, and will display inaccurate temperature since AC power is required to get projection function.

Other Thoughts: Run on battery - it works, but no projector.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT Little Clock!

Pros: Compact, convenient size. Long A/C cord. BIG digital readout. Projected readout is crisp, and easy to read. Simple setup and the time is kept accurate.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This was on sale for 9.99 and was a fabulous bargain! I didn't know what I would think of the projected readout on my ceiling, but it is surprisingly convenient. The big, blue digital readout is extremely easy on the eyes.

I was just looking for a simple clock with a temperature readout and something easy to read. WOW did I get more than I expected!

Pros: - It works and inexpensive
- Projection feature is cute

Other Thoughts: I thought this clock actually had an am/fm radio. But this is not the case. Would be nice to have it.

2 out of 5 eggsnot for me

Pros: The atomic time sync works well.

Cons: Display has no way to dim so is very bright at night. The projection clock has no way to rotate the read out except side to side. Other projection clocks I have had you can rotate the readout 180 degrees so when you look at it during the night on the ceiling the readout is right side up. This clock reads out up side down on the ceiling. The thermometer is at least reading 10 degrees warmer than it actually is. Not too impressed.

Other Thoughts: I only paid $10 for this if it had been more I would have tried to send it back. I figured the cost of shipping would make be enough to not make returning it worthwhile.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The Projection works good eventhough its small

Cons: The display does not work properly, we can't see the time, when trying to set the time the display goes blank and we can't see anything, we have to guess and set the time by the clicks but not by watching it. Very bad product to buy.
