1 out of 5 eggsDidn't function, cheaply made

Pros: None

Cons: Didn't work upon immediate receipt
Lightweight, feels like cheaply made
Looks cheaply made
Return process is a pain. You have to email an gmail account ( to get an RMA label or pay for return yourself and you cannot go through Newegg for RMA. VERY disatisfied that Newegg would even use this 3rd party vendor.

Other Thoughts: Device would not pair. Remote control was supposed to immediately pair, it didn't.
Light on collar device went from red/green, red/green
Battery connectors in both devices super cheap, couldn't make a good, fitted connection with device

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Product

Pros: 1 Sound function

2 Vibrate functions instead of shock

Pretty decent range

Effective in training your dog to not bark or to listen to your commands.

Great price as compared to other products!

Cons: Light function where a light lights-up on the color is worthless other than to test that the colar is working.

Vibrate functions probably should be more intense. Definitely would NOT work for large dogs (we have Dachshunds).

Colar that comes with it is very large for small dogs.

Other Thoughts: This is a good alternative to a shock colar. I was not going to subject my dogs to a shock colar since it simply is just cruel. I've tested these on myself and it doesn't feel good and in some cases very painful and I'm a lot bigger than the dogs.

The remote has a light function (which is worthless except to verify that the colar is on and working), a sound function (which is decent to get their attention), a low vibrate function (which is decent), and a more intensive higher vibrate function (which is good). My suggestion would be to increase the intensity of the vibrate functions and this would be really good.

Overall, the vibrate colar works pretty well. The sound gets their attention but they typically start barking again. The vibrate functions work and they stop. The critical thing here is that this is a training devise, SO you must give a verbal comand like "Stop Barking" first and then if they don't stop then you can hit the sound function, give the command again, then hit the vibrate function, etc. It works pretty well and I think anyone with small dogs would be happy with it vs a shock/static colar. Give it a shot - it's inexpensive and works as a traninig tool.

5 out of 5 eggsThey tell it me works

Pros: I bought these for my two sisters dogs. A Pomeranian and her pup. They both tell me it works great for trying to get them to do what they want. i.e trying to tell them to come here, to stop what they are doing, not barking as much/loud. It is what it says it is, a "training collar" so don't get that confused with a shock collar.

Cons: UGH!! they want me to buy ANOTHER!! me??!?!? =P

Other Thoughts: Works well if your dog doesn't bark a whole lot and your just trying to teach them to do a few things. Will probably order another one soon here. Maybe today.
