1 out of 5 eggsJUNK

Pros: THERE ARE NO PROS ON THIS ITEM. I think image store and new egg are great companies and will buy from them again absolutely!! Customer service is bar none for both of them......but this product is bad!

Cons: When i first received this item I was very excited about the product and the price!!! But when it arrived i plugged it into the computer and it got very hot very quickly and almost caught fire! Never worked. I was very disappointing. I should have listened to the reviews! Image store offered to pay return shipping and replace it for free! They were absolutely top notch but i can not take another chance with this product. I can not afford a fire to happen in my home just because of a good price...and plus like I said it does not work!

Other Thoughts: I would spend a little more and one that has better quality control

4 out of 5 eggsGreat customer service

Pros: Small, light weight, good image quality, good sound.
Easy to use, once you figure it out.
Quick to connect to computer and transfer files.

Cons: Horrible instructions. (chinglish).
Power button and Play/Pause button are reversed on unit.
Approx 90min of battery life.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to attach to my RC Airplane while flying.

Received first camera, but it was DOA.
Emailed 3rd party seller (Imagestore) for RMA.
They responded within 1-hr with offer to replace for free, without returning bad unit!!!
Replacement unit arrived USPS in 3 days!!!!
They have great customer service!!!!!

Battery is single cell LiPo, ~250mAh. Replaceable if you have micro soldering skills, and are comfortable with LiPo batteries.

My AMERICAN ENGLISH instructions:
-Charge via USB. Light turns off when charge completed.
-To turn ON: Press and hold PLAY button untill light turns on.
-To start recording: Press and hold POWER button untill light flashes 3-times & goes blank. (you are now recording video)
-To stop recording: Press & release POWER button to stop recording, light will turn back on.
-To take pictures: Press & release POWER button for 1 picture. Repeat as needed.
-To turn off: Press & hold PLAY button until light turns off, or wait 1 min for auto-OFF.

2 out of 5 eggsChoppy Video, Not as described

Pros: It maintains the date/time after you set it with a text file. The date/time is neatly overlayed over the photos and videos. Audio quality is pretty good (16000Hz mono 128kbps) and super sensitive.

Cons: The video is choppy. The CCD is mounted with a sloppy 15 degree roll. Every couple seconds the video freezes while the audio continues. Photo resolution is 1280x1024, not 1600x1200. The instructions are confusing and cryptic. The photo/video button and the on/off button are swapped. Button pressing feels extremely cheap. I had to reset it twice already because it wouldn't turn on - you can't turn it off or it just locks up until you reset it, so you have to let it auto turn off. Setting the date/time is cumbersome and it took me a good round of tries to get it to set correctly. The memory card isn't optional as advertised. There's no way to select the video resolution - at least not in the instructions. There's no way to tell if it's off or recording because the light is off while recording, so you have to remember that it's recording.

Other Thoughts: Still good in a pinch. I'll keep this little baddy hooked to my wallet. I love that it looks like a car remote entry. My (sane) instructions are: big button to turn on (Never turn it off, let it turn itself off). Light steady on when ready. Tap little button for pic. Hold little to start vid, and tap little to end. I wont velcro it to my car's dash because it leaves giant 1-2 second video gaps that could easily skip over something. I think I can get at least 90 minutes of video with a 4GB card. Be careful when plugging the card in because it looks easy to jam it in wrong.

2 out of 5 eggsgot the wrong product instructions, but the engrish still works out.

Pros: it can record video... it can take pictures... it stores them to your micro-SD card. it doesn't cost much at all. the instructioins are a somewhat entertaining read.

Cons: the first issue I had with this product is the masterwork Engrish instructions insert... it's not the worst Engrish I've seen, but its the kind you've got to read a few times over, both to understand and decipher the meaning, as well as to get some laughs. I've also received instrucions for the 808 model, not the 909 I have purchased... not that it makes much difference since they both seem to have the same functionality. the worst thing about this thing for me has to be the fact that the "ON/OFF button" is labeled with symbols for play/pause, and the "video/camers button" is clearly labeled with the on/off symbol, and the buttons are not interchangeable. following the wrong-model 808 instructions I received does get it to work, only I had to spend quite some time with it acting useless until I noticed the buttons-swap on my 909 when compared to images of the same model online.

Other Thoughts: between recieving an older product's instructions, and giving me mislabeled buttons to figure out on top of the engrish documentation, getting this thing to work took more of my time than it's worth.
