5 out of 5 eggsIt works.

Pros: Finally able to use my 360 wireless controllers for PC gaming.

Inexpensive.

Cons: Not really a con, but its not a Microsoft product.

Silly mini CD that I didn't bother trying.

Other Thoughts: Easily installed using Microsoft's drivers.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works great, very affordable.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I recently posted a review on this product and gave it 1 egg, this was a mistake, that review was meant for a keyboard by bang electronics. My apologies as this is a great product. Hopefully the previous review will be removed.

5 out of 5 eggsIf you buy any 3rd party ones; buy these!

Pros: Works 100% identical to the MS certified one!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: OK so I read all the reviews on newegg and seen that some of these would "drop" their connectivity.
I also noticed that there were waaaay too many name brands to choose. So out of nervousness I decided on buying from a 3rd party I have seen before. So I opted for the AGPtek brand and yet to have a single problem from this dongle. I have owned the original Microsoft certified and must say I did not even have to down load any crazy driver yet alone search for said driver.
Now I can use any 360 controller for all my PC games. (Yes ALL, I know xpadder LOL)

5 out of 5 eggsNice product, minor hurdle

Pros: The hardware works great, been using it heavily for nearly a month.

Cons: The driver CD it shipped with did not work out on Windows 7x64. As others have suggested, if you are having trouble get the driver for gamepads from Microsoft's website and then find it manually in device manager.

3 out of 5 eggsHad to manually install drivers

Pros: Works, once you get the drivers installed.

Cons: The disc doesn't install the drivers.

Other Thoughts: I had to google help on how to get this thing working. Basically when you put the CD in and plug the device in, it tells you that it can't install the drivers because they don't exist, or something like that. So then you download the drivers on microsoft's site, and the controller still disagrees that the drivers exist, so you go into device manager and search through a list of available drivers.

Then it works just fine. It even tells you the battery life on your controller. :)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: CHEAP! Its small, black, and works well.

Cons: Extra disc that I didn't even use

Other Thoughts: Used this for ten hours turned the Xbox controller off and on a couple times put computer too sleep back on no issues whatsoever. Follow the instructions in the reviews. Note:I did download the Microsoft controller driver and installed it before I even had this product. Haven't used but one controller but it makes easy work out of my new found pc gaming. Also helps I got it a day early. Is not a Microsoft product but works just as well.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat deal!

Pros: Works great. I've had no problems.

Cons: Well... I don't know if it's a con or not, but I threw away the disc and followed the instructions found in the comments. I had it working within 5-10 minutes.

Other Thoughts: None.

5 out of 5 eggsStumbled at first

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do, controls identical to Xbox, works "out of the box" once drivers installed properly (no additional config necessary).

Cons: Not a Microsoft product, no REAL driver support, Microsoft drivers don't work without help, controller doesn't connect without added support.

Other Thoughts: So I started playing Skyrim a few weeks back, having already played through the base game on 360 a while back and wanted to play again with some fun mods I'd seen. Being a 360 player, I realized I was having difficulty controlling the game with the keyboard. Looked online and found, as I suspected, you can use a 360 controller on your PC and found this item to assist. Knew it was not Microsoft when I bought it, but figured the Microsoft guide would walk me through it. I was way wrong. I spent the last week or so looking up a way to get my controller to connect (found the proper drivers and install method the first day), but couldn't get my controller to sync up with this unit. Last night I came here, looking to find anything new, and bingo, found the answer.

Copy this into a search window: xbox, 360, wireless, receiver, drivers, selfsimilar

Everything you need is on the first link it shows. Follow it to the letter, and your money won't be wasted. I'm pleased this worked for me, and hardily thank the person below me that found that page!

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: It works...

Cons: ....when it decides to. Also, you have to reinstall the driver every time you unplug the darn thing. Still, its the best one thats out there right now.

Just remember kids: This ISNT a Microsoft product. Its a Chinese knockoff that happens to work most of the time.
