5 out of 5 eggsInsanely good customer service

Pros: - Inexpensive
- Great customer service

Cons: A bit "plasticy", if I dropped it, it would shatter into a million pieces.

Other Thoughts: So I've had this tablet laying around for months without anything to really use it for, but I recently decided I wanted to use it for reading. Anyway, I had lost the AC adapter for it so I emailed Imagestore.Eggs@gmail.com (the seller) and asked them where I could order a replacement one. They asked for my address and just sent it to me FOR FREE! I told them I could pay and everything, but they wouldn't let me.

It was my stupid fault I lost the adapter, and they just replaced it because they're good guys. Awesome company!

1 out of 5 eggsDead after 6 months

Pros: Worked pretty well for a while, until it started freezing and resetting.

Cons: Doesnt boot past the Ice Cream sandwich screen now and I appear to be outside of warranty already. Reset button just turns it off again.

Other Thoughts: I understand it is a cheap tablet, but it should at least be working less than a year after purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsGot one!

Pros: HDMI-out is awesome!! I can remote my display to my flat screen monitor and use the tablet as a remote to play games..fun.

Cons: Short battery life (about 3 hours) using the video playback.
About 2 movies.

Other Thoughts: I would like to see the 10" from AGPtek.

1 out of 5 eggsCan't charge the thing...

Pros: Ordered two of these before a road trip with my 6 and 7 yr. olds. Neither would hold a charge and then they finally gave up charging altogether. The no-name brand chargers don't work, and it's impossible to find a charger that fits the pin head on the tablet. A complete waste of money...

Cons: Didn't work more than a month - no longer holds charge, and can't fine a charger to fit it.

5 out of 5 eggsReview Update for 9/19/2012

Pros: I got a replacement and now my daughter has used it for over a month. It works great for what she has been using it to do. Mainly using free Apps., music and video downloads and general web browsing. The software must have been updated on the new tablet since there is a new AGPteK splash start-up screen before the IceCream Logo and no freezes that I know of.

Newegg and the vendor were very efficient in the return process and the tablet now came with a mini-USB cable and a couple screen protectors. Thanks!!

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Value, Expandable Memory

Pros: Nice screen. Good battery life. Expandable memory. Supports wide variety of video formats. Good price.

Cons: The on/off button placement makes it too easy to hit automatically (confirmation screen pops up, so it won't actually shut down all the way unless you really want it to).

Other Thoughts: This is my first foray into Android, and I was pleasantly surprised. I was primarily looking for a way to play DivX and MP4 videos on the cheap, and this is the obvious choice from a cost perspective (even with the 32GB MicroSD card I purchased separately).

2 out of 5 eggsDecent tablet for the price

Pros: Loads apps pretty quick and has alot of app choices via the droid platform play store. Pretty quick web surfing (when working). Friendly interface. Picture quality is good. Low price.

Cons: Slow to start up. Sound isn't very good without headphones. Several of the apps I used would shut down randomly (could be app but I doubt it) Netflix app would not work at all. Wireless connection quits working and has to be re-started QUITE OFTEN. Very annoying. Touch screen can be finicky at times.

Other Thoughts: If it weren't for its relatively low price and pros, I would have given this tablet one egg just because of the wireless connectivity issues. If I had to do again I would have probably just spent twice the cost and got a kindle fire but I thought I'd give this a try. Oh, and battery life is so-so.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Slick!

Pros: It's pretty slick: I'm getting 6-9hrs of HEAVY, CONTINUOUS use from the battery. Basically what I've done here is replace a piece of scrap paper and the free ball point pen I got from the bank with a $100 piece of sillycon. But the chance to learn a new OS is always worth a $100.

The one thing that IS quite valuable, slick, and useful is the FTP function of ES File Explorer.

I've always wanted to have a screen in portrait orientation but I could never justify 2 desktop screens. Does anyone make a 19" desktop screen that senses the space time continuum and you can rotate like this one? (just kidding)

Cons: You can skip this case and keyboard and just get the tablet. Unless you REALLY, REALLY plan to do a lot of typing, the screen keyboard (and esp Graffiti) is plenty good. Even then I'd probably want a higher end wireless USB keyboard.

And while I agree, a case is a good idea, the pad slips right out the side of this case if you don't grip it tightly. Hit floor! Ouch! For the most part, except for pure transportation, a screen protector would do for a case.

The manual is just about totally useless, but fortunately, just as totally unnecessary. Nothing I couldn't find more easily on Google.

Other Thoughts: Get 'ES File Explorer' (free) to browse files and mount smb (network drives) shares.
Get 'Graffiti' (free) to replace the virtual (screen) keyboard. I always did think that this Palm Pilot handwriting program for touch screen was one of the most useful, all time software greats.
Get 'Tomdroid' (free) for notes.
Can I install OpenSuSE Linux 11.4 on this thing?(again, just kidding)
